Pros:
Works perfectly with the Britax Companion infant carseat
Cons:
You need three hands to operate it

We had purchased the Britax Companion infant carseat and wanted a stroller that would fit that seat. It seems that almost every other stroller out there works with the Graco Snugride carseat, but few if any work with the Britax Companion, which is rated better than the Snugride and is safer.I stumbled across the Britax Preview stroller on Amazon one day. It had just been released and I purchased it sight unseen. It matched the Companion and fit perfectly. It was our first stroller, so we didn't know any better. And it was relatively inexpensive, so we gave it a shot.It assembled relatively easily, but the instructions were for an older model and didn't apply to the new one, so we had to improvise in assembly. Initially we liked the stroller...how smooth it felt on the wheels, but soon our feelings changed. Our biggest gripe is that our feet kick the back wheels of the stroller as we walk, so you have to keep your arms fully extended, which gets to be painful after a while. I tried walking to the side of the Preview and pushing with one hand, but the wheels aren't very responsive in turns. Also, if you are relatively tall -- I am 6 feet even -- the handle grips are too low.Second biggest gripe is that the basket is impossible to store stuff when the stroller is partially reclined. With a newborn in the Companion carseat, you have to have the stroller reclined for the seat to fit properly, so the basket is a big waste until the baby outgrows the carseat and you can keep the seat in a more upright position.Third gripe is that you need to squeeze two release buttons to recline the stroller, but you need a thrid hand to actually push the seat down to recline. Same goes if you are raising the seat up from the recline position to upright.Fourth, the material that both the Companion and Preview are made of is very coarse and rough on the skin. It smelled horribly of chemicals when we opened them, and we immediately removed all fabric we could and put it in the washing machine.Fifth, the wheels are made of what feels like a lightweight foam and seem to be wearing our pretty quickly. We've only had the stroller two months and use it mostly for the mall and an occasional walk around the neighborhood.Sixth, folding the stroller was a bit tricky at first, and a bit stiff, too. But we got the hang of it. We are now looking to upgrade to a tri-wheel stroller with air-filled tires and shocks. A number of stroller makers now accomodate the Britax Companion infant seat, so I would recommend going with a tri-wheel stroller with big air-filled wheels for maneuverability and comfort. Big wheels accomodate bumps much easier, keeping baby asleep better. We like the Valco Runabout TriMode because it is built solid and has a ton of storage space and can even convert to a double with the toddler seat attachment. We like the Bumbleride Rocket stroller which is less money but we feel the Valco is built better. Both are excellent tri-wheel strollers.

This is a great stroller! We didn't know much about it but purchased it to accomodate the highly rated consumer report Britax companion carseat. It is an umbrella stroller that is very light yet not as flimsy as most umbrella strollers. I also liked it because it is a pretty deep umbrella stroller. We were debating between this and the preg pergo aria stroller. I am so glad we went with this because I think it is much better built and is much cheaper($129 vs around $ 275). It folds up quite nicely and doesn't take up much room in the car (as opposed to most of the gracos). As with most umbrella strollers it doesn't have a cup holder but if that is important to you the click and go cup holder attachment works great. I am 6 feet tall and sometimes wish the handles were a little taller or adjustable but it really hasn't been too much of a problem. It has a detachable diaper bag as well that allows for some extra storage. The material is pretty easy to clean. The only major con for me is that the basket is pretty small and very inaccessible in the fully reclined position. Overall, my daughter and I both love this stroller and if I had to do it all over again I would choose this one!!!
