Cheap & sturdy on rough city streets., September 15, 2005

Pros: Price, good on rough terrain.
Cons: Too big for trunk/seat recline difficult, not upright enough

We paid $99 for our expedition after seeing our neighbors older model hold up after 3 years use. We live in intown Atlanta, which means tree roots growing out of the sidewalks, so definitely needed a jogger to navigate. It's fabulous for our many walks around the neighborhood, and the basket has great capacity. We chose cheaper model without snack trays and have not regretted it. Unlike mall, you don't really sit still long enough for the snack bar to be necessary.

We do occassionally do some mild jogging with it, but really the streets are too rough - did I mention the tree roots?

Stroller fits into the trunk of our Protege only after great efforts, but I think that's true for all joggers.

We've played around with the seat recline but can't get it as upright as daughter would prefer.

Other neighbors bought an insert and have used for their 2 month old, but she looks precarious. We bought ours when daughter was 7 months, and didn't need an insert.

Pros: Great for Offroading and the mall! Did I mention price?
Cons: Size. Very large even when folded.

We paid $120 for this stroller and we love it. My husband shows horses so we are in sand, on pavement, rocks, grass....etc. This stroller handles all of that with ease. It's also nice in the mall. It is large however and takes up alot of room in the back of my toyota 4runner. You also have to check the front wheel to make sure it's tight on a regular basis (maybe because we are always going over very rough terrain). Overall we love it especially for the price. I almost bought a much more expensive model and I'm glad I didn't.
