I purchased the Baby Trend Expedition LX in July 2007 at Babies 'R Us. It was originally $150 but we got it on sale for $120.I really wanted to purchase a Baby Jogger City Series Single, but we simply could not afford to spend $300 on a jogging stroller at the time, and I didn't want to wait. So when I found the Baby Trend Expedition LX on sale at BRU, I purchased it without any prior research.Overall, it's a very nice stroller for the price. The suspension and handling are great. I'm 6' and my husband is 6'6", and we both feel comfortable with the handle height, which is not common for all strollers. I like that the front wheel can be fixed or left free, which makes it more versatile for jogging or running errands. The stroller has a 5-point harness with adjustable strap height, waist belt, and crotch strap. There are removable pads on the shoulder straps. The seat has a good recline that's pretty easy to work. The child tray is a decent size, and there are two cup holders and a lidded compartment on the parent tray (nice for holding my cell phone and keys when I go jogging). The sun canopy actually provides decent coverage, and the basket is a nice size. The parking brakes work well and there is a tether strap that you can strap to your wrist so that if you trip or fall or lose your grip on the handlebars, the stroller won't keep rolling away without you.The stroller comes with some neat extras. The removeable, reversible seat pad has a cotton side and a sherpa side for summer/winter use. There is a pouch for an iPod/MP3 player with a connection to the built-in speakers in the hood. The stroller also comes with a pedometer that's already mounted to the handlebar and wired to the wheels. These are nice features, especially at this price point. My only big complaint about the stroller is the fold. You have to press on a button and use both hands to pick up the stroller, then lock it into place (kind of difficult to explain). The stroller will only fold if the seat is fully reclined and the front wheel is turned sideways. It's still pretty large and heavy even when folded. This isn't a huge problem for me, as I mainly just use this stroller for jogging, or if we're not going to be on a sidewalk or indoors (like at the pumpking patch, for example). I have a GMC Yukon, so the jogger stays in the back of it so I don't have it taking up space in my house. I wouldn't use this stroller to go to the mall - I take my umbrella for that.Overall, this is a nice stroller for the price. No, it's not as nice as some other jogger models out there (and I still secretly lust for the Baby Jogger City Series Single), but it also doesn't carry their hefty price tag. If you just want a decent jogger for walking/mild running, this is a good buy.
