Pros: Easy Fold and Smooth Ride
Cons: The Recline and Canopy

We have a 2006 model.

I spent many months researching strollers before DD arrived. I wanted to find the *perfect* stroller. While I learned that there is not one perfect stroller for all situations, I did find the *perfect* stroller for us.

The full recline is great for infants. I started using our BJCS when DD was only 3 months old. I put a headrest around her head and reclined the seat all the way down. At the time they didn't have the car seat adapter which is a terrific new feauture.

The ride is smooth and the stroller glides effortlessly on all terrains. It's very easy to use with one hand, the fold is easy, the front wheel can be locked or it can swivel, and the handle is adjustable.

CONS: I don't like the recline feature, but thankfully I haven't had to use it much. I also don't like the fact that the canopy doesn't fold down all the way. We ended up buying a separate sunshade to block out the direct sunlight. However, I've noticed that Baby Jogger has fixed this on their newer versions.

LOVE this Stroller!, December 10, 2005

Pros: So easy to push/steer. Adjustable handle bar is the best.
Cons: Pull-strap type recline is really my only complaint.

Got this stroller in Oct on recommendation from the boards. Was looking for all-terrain type stroller for speed walking around the neighborhood....roug h sidewalks, curbs etc.

I really have no complaints about this stroller. Truly worth the $$. Pushes like a dream. Great canopy. Comfy for DD. Compact and lightweight with super easy fold. Makes going up and down my porch stairs SO easy.

The pull-strap recline is a bit of a hassle but this seems to be the standard recline method for a jogging/AT stroller. DD doesn't recline often so it is not a big deal.

Note: so far I have not run with this stroller. We keep the wheel in "swivel mode" all the time.

Also, I found this on sale for $325. $350 seems to be about standard.

Baby Jogger – Dangerous Product, Poor Quality, and Horrible Customer Service, April 15, 2008

Pros: Handling and Easy Folding
Cons: The frame broke and after 2 months has not been replaced despite a "lifetime warranty"

I strongly advise against Babyjogger - in short, the metal frame on my City Series snapped in half, nearly injuring my toddler, and two months later I still have no stroller despite numerous calls and a “Lifetime Warranty claim by the company.

I have never written a negative review before, however, given the danger posed by the poor quality, combined with the inexcusably bad customer service, I felt compelled to post my experience to warn other parents away from Baby Jogger.

My husband and I did quite a bit of research before buying the Baby Jogger City Series. We really liked how the stroller handled even on bumpy older streets and sidewalks, and how easy it is to fold down to bring in the car. However, I was unpleasantly surprised when I was 8 months pregnant, walking my 22 month old son down a short set of stairs when the metal frame on the baby jogger snapped on both sides, causing the stroller to collapse. My son fell back suddenly, but thankfully I was able to catch him before his head hit the stairs. I’m just lucky that I wasn’t going down a larger staircase or running at the time! I then had the miserable experience of walking, crouched over (while very pregnant!) dragging the collapsed remnants of a stroller in one hand and trying to convince my energetic toddler to stay within arm’s reach as we walked home along busy city streets. After reading about the lifetime frame Warranty on (http://babyjogger.com/warranty.htm) I contacted Babyjogger’s customer care group in February 2008. I expected to be sent a replacement stroller, but instead was told that I would be sent only a frame in a couple of weeks and would have to disassemble my current stroller and send back the broken frame or they would charge my credit card. Far from customer-friendly, but I said fine. A couple of weeks came and passed, and by late March, my husband and I were desperately in need of a stroller. I called again and was told that the frame shipment they expected in March had not arrived from China, and I would need to wait another month until mid April when the next shipment was expected. I explained that it is completely unreasonable to expect parents to go without a stroller for two months – what is the point of a warranty if the customer is forced to purchase a replacement product? Moreover, why didn’t they have the decency to notify me when the shipment didn’t arrive? The representative said that there was nothing she could do, so I asked to speak with her manager, Sarah. Sarah was very nice and apologized; however when I asked for a refund or for them to send a new stroller, she said she couldn’t do either. She did agree to authorize a return and instructed me to go back to the retailer to return the stroller.

I travelled over an hour round trip to the store, but they said they had never heard about this offer from Babyjogger and would not accept the return. Several calls later, Babyjogger is now refusing any type of return or refund so that was a complete waste of time. It is April 14th, and I still have no frame and consequently no stroller. Needless to say, we purchased a different brand of stroller – a Phil & Ted’s stroller, which has been great. I really wish that we had bought the Phil & Ted’s stroller in the first place. Aside from the danger posed by the shoddy Babyjogger frame and the unacceptable response from the company, the Phil & Ted’s stroller is a smoother ride and can be expanded to seat two children while maintaining a narrow profile for maneuvering through stores. I regret buying the Baby Jogger.

Love this stroller!, September 5, 2007

Pros: Easy maneuverabilty, quick fold, swivel/lock wheel
Cons: No parent console - but easily remedied

We use this stroller all the time - for errands, walks, jogs. After using the Compass T330 (I think) - we love this one.

Pros: *Maneuvers corners well *Price -not bad for a good jogging stroller (not as much as the BOB Revolution - the jogger I was originally looking at - but so glad to have this one) *Swivel wheels allows you to go shopping without knocking anything down and turn corners well. *Wheel can lock when you are running/jogging *One hand fold *Easy open *Peek-a- boo windows on top *Full recline *Looks cool

Cons: *No parent console - but purchased a Macleran one *Storage is so-so. It has a bottom storage and a mesh back storage. Can't do major grocery shopping - but - well it is jogging stroller and not really meant to cart baby and large things around.

It's between an A and A-

Wonderful addition to the A/T category, August 19, 2005

Pros: big seat, full recline, easy fold and compact when folded
Cons: doesn't accept any add-on toddler board

I was expecting a lot from this stroller. I had tried everything and I had a hard time finding anything that would have a seat big enough for my very tall toddler. Well, this one has. My daughter is very comfortable in the seat and she is able to take long naps in it.

The seat is well padded and the material feels very durable and easy to clean. The canopy is not very big but it gives a pretty good coverage.

The ride is very smooth and the stroller feels strong and solid when I go over bumps and uneven terrain.

Switching between swivel and locked front wheel is simple and the stroller is easy to steer even when the front wheel is locked.

The handle hight is adjustable which is nice because I'm short and I have a hard time finding strollers that would be comfortable to push.

The fold is very simple. It folds small and makes it easy to grab for lifting into the car.

One thing that I found a little weird, was that there was no instruction manual provided. There was a booklet on how to assemble the stroller, but nothing about how to fold it etc. There is a set of safety straps to prevent accidental folding, but no instructions if they should be unsnapped when folding the stroller. Small things that can be very confusing for a new mom or dad.

The biggest and actually even only complaint about this stroller is, that it doesn't accept a toddler board. The space inside the handle is too small for a bigger child to fit her head through in order to be able to ride on a toddler board. It's a real disappointment to me. This would truly be THE stroller if it didn't have this annoying designer flaw.

I highly recommend this stroller if a toddler board is not an issue.
