A versatile and easy to use all-terrain, January 2, 2007

Pros: Handling, suspension/ride, fold, aethetics
Cons: Seat not upright enough, canopy merely adequate.

Excellent and versatile all-terrain stroller. We paid $359 for this stroller in February 2006, and have used it during all 4 seasons in MN. This stroller handles extremely well in all terrains - including sand, wood chips, and snow. It also does surprisingly well in retail environments - fits through all but the narrowest aisles. Very comfortable for daughter (started using at 4 mos.)- using their "Warm Fuzzy" accessory in cooler weather makes seat more cushioned. It's easy to fold, although something to lock it in the folded position would be nice. I also really like the view window with optional cover in the canopy. The biggest drawback is that the seat is always semi-reclined. As our daughter (13 mos.) has gotten older, she wants to sit up more to look around. Because of this, we're now shopping for a standard stroller as well for errands. I also wish the canopy was a bit bigger. Recommend getting following BOB accessories: Weather Shield, Warm Fuzzy, Cup Holder.

We love our BOB !, September 19, 2007

Pros: Folds easily, can use from birth, and turns on a dime
Cons: the carrying strap could be more comfortable

We are incredibly happy with our decision to go with the BOB Revolution. After much research and consideration we decided that the Revolution was the best choice in this category of convertible joggers.

As very active and outdoorsy parents we wanted a stroller that could be used on all types of terrain, but would store easily in our small apartment. In a pinch, it also travels relatively well in our cars (though we intend to purchase an umbrella stroller in the future when our son is a little bigger).

We were especially pleased that we would only need to purchase (and store) one stroller since the BOB can be used for newborns with its convertor kit. This seemed to be especially important after hearing how many people purchased several strollers due to trial and error. Not only did we not want to waste our money, but we have no room in our small place to store multiple strollers. Although the BOB cost about $650 Can. it was definately worth it to get it right the first time.

I had our son out in the BOB when he was only 5 days old since our Graco SnugRide snapped easily into it. Even though I was still quite sore from childbirth I had no problem getting the stroller out of our basement (21 lbs. of BOB up 6 steps), unfolding the stroller (it takes one hand), and snapping the carseat in - all by myself. I am also able to get it in and out of the back of my station wagon unaided.

The stroller turns on a dime, in both our apartment, and in the few stores I've brought it into; and pushes easily up and down curbs, over gravel, grass and uneven pavement (quite an issue in a big city). I also look forward to pushing it through snow in the wintertime - the non-metal wheels have the added bonus of being rustproof in our horrible climate ! It is also incredibly easy to control. Even my mother had no trouble pushing it and she has severe arthritis and carpal tunnel in both wrists.

Since we bought the Revolution, which has a swivel wheel that can be locked as well, we have the option of using it as a jogger when our son is bigger, though I can't say much about that feature as he is only 5 weeks old now.

It also has a higher handlebar than many strollers and our entire (tall) family can push it comfortably without kicking the wheels or basket.

There are only a few noticible drawbacks: the bug net/UV shield does not fit properly when used with an infant car seat - luckily our son was born in August, not April, so bugs are not much of an issue while we are using the carseat; the carrying strap is hard on the hands and could be designed to be much more comfortable; all of the accessories add substantially to your total cost as none are included.

Even so, my husband and I are delighted with our purchase, and would not trade it for anything.

The BEST all-terrain hands down, August 26, 2006

Pros: Top Notch Engineering and Construction
Cons: Handlebar Height/ Not Adjustable

I bought this after buying a Zooper Boogie all-terrain first, and I hated it. I already owned a BOB SUS that we keep at our vacation home. I love the SUS for dirt/running, but it's a pain to steer because of the fixed wheel. I wanted a swivel wheel for just walking (you can't RUN with a swivel wheel- even in the fixed position, the tires aren't big enough and the wheel wobbles)

I should have just bought another BOB. The Boogie was heavy and so hard to fold. The BOB folds up easy (but, it doesn't lock, which isn't perfect).

Here's what i love: Quality design/engineering/ Nice materials/ Average-sized basket/ Great console (for another $20- well worth it)/ Sturdy foot break/ Huge canopy (way better than the E3 or Baby Jogger)/ Great harness design/ Warm & Fuzzy insert/

What i don't love: Handlebar height/non-adjustabl e/ No handlebar break (not necc. for a non-jogger, but would be nice)/ Difficult to access basket once kid is seated/ Colors- how bout just plain red and blue?/ Expensive bug/glare cover/

If you're looking for an all-terrain swivel wheel, DEFINATELY look at the BOB Revolution. It's awesome!!

PS- If you think the price is too high, these do go on sale or closeout, though not that often. I got a 2006 in 8/06 for just $285. My SUS was only $240. I also have the carseat adapter for use with my Graco snugride, which is nice- but you don't want to be taking your newborn out on bouncy rides. My baby fit in the seat at about 3 months old (for walking, on paved surfaces).

Excellent Stroller, August 20, 2006

Pros: Smooth, Easy to push, very well made
Cons: a bit large, even when folded up

I really love the Bob. It is so well made. I feel like it will last forever. I think it is a good value. It is a very smooth ride for the baby. I also have the graco car seat adapter and it works great. I think anyone who might want to exercise with a stroller and take baby on any terrain should get this stroller. It is not great for the mall, but you could use it anywhere. It is a bit large for the tight spaces in stores at the mall. Also, folding it up to put in the car is slightly challenging, mostly because of the size. I recommend to get the console piece that velcros on to the handle. The basket is fine, but a little hard to get into.

LOVE the BOB, January 3, 2007

Overall Grade   10.00/10  (10)

Pros: Handles rough terrain easily, folds smaller than most
Cons: Price, but worth it! Basket is small and hard to get to

We bought this and began using it (with the infant seat attachment) when our son was six weeks old. He began sitting in it alone when he was 4 months. We love the rugged wheels, shocks, and generous canopy. My only con is that I bought this thinking we could use this as our only stroller after the snap 'n go, but I've found that it's just too bulky for shopping and errands. It folds and opens in a snap but it's too tough to manuever around malls and shops. However, that's not what it's made for so I think I was just a naive first-time mom in thinking that it could do everything. We've run with it, walked off-road, and our son seems comfortable and cushioned.
