Pros:
adjustable seat height, nice looking, big basket
Cons:
tray is a little far from the seat back
|
|
I paid $139, i think. I really like this chair overall. I love the look of it and it is pretty easy to clean. The best thing is the adjustable seat. Now that my son is 15 months old, I lowered the seat and removed the tray and he sits right at the table w/ us. The only con is that the tray is a bit far from the seat back so more food falls through. Not a big problem though since i have a very big baby.

Pros:
Leatherette seat cover, storage basket underneath
Cons:
Tray too far away from seat, seat slides down on one side
|
|
I paid $90 for my Zooper Peas & Carrots from an authorized retailer on eBay.I fell in love with the Bubbles print when I saw it in person at a baby store. But the real thing fell short of my expectations. The tray is too far away from the seat for an infant starting to eat solids to reach. My daughter barely reaches the edge of the tray, making the rest of the huge tray useless. The seat slides down periodically on the right side. It won't stay locked into place. The wheels seem to randomly lock themselves. The straps aren't meant to come off to be washed, making it terribly difficult to clean after a big mess. It's also quite difficult to get the leatherette seat cover off. I had to have my husband disassemble it for me when my daughter threw up in her chair, as I couldn't thoroughly clean it otherwise.Sure, it's cute, but it hasn't turned out to be very functional for us. Every time I see that chair in my kitchen, I feel bad about that purchase and wish I could get rid of it so I could get something else - but I wouldn't give that chair away. Too many problems.

Pros:
Storage basket on back is handy.
Cons:
Tray is WAY too far away from baby.

I believe I paid around $140 for this high chair online. I ended up hating it so much I pretty much gave it away to a baby resale boutique after using it less than 9 months.
The tray is set so far away from the baby that if you strap him in securely, he cannot reach his food. If you don't strap him in, it is very easy for him to climb out. I can't tell you how many times I turned around and caught my son standing in his high chair! After I got rid of this poorly-designed piece of junk, I got a Graco Contempo, which i LOVE -- my son now sits down long enough to finish his meals, and I don't worry about him falling on his head.
