Pros:
Bib bar, extra tray, vinyl seat
Cons:
"One-hand" recline-NOT, large footprint
|
|
We registered for this at Target, it was about $60 or so. We had to return the first one as the corner of the box was crushed, and the one leg inside was broken. Target gave us a huge hassle, but that's a different review. We chose a green plaid pattern, Georgie, with a giraffe motif. Our main print for other Graco things was Windsor but the seat pad was cloth on that and too hard to clean.DH assembled without too much trouble. So far we've liked the Graco Harmony - it wipes up clean, and having the extra tray has been nice when there's no time to clean the top tray. This model didn't come with the little basket, but does have the bib bar, which I use every day.
The only problems are adjusting the recline, which tho it claims to be one-handed, takes some muscle. It also takes up a lot of floorspace, but it's on wheels so we push it out of the way when not in use.

Pros:
Possibly the bib bar.
Cons:
Dangerous, cheap quality, difficult to assemble & use.
|
|
We purchased this chair ($80 from Wal-Mart) for use at a vacation home as it was our only choice...we could not have gone more wrong! To begin with, the instructions can be rather confusing, and during our assembly, one of the cheap plastic pieces broke off. It took three of us over 1/2 hour to assemble this chair--and we're veterans at assembling baby gear! It should NOT be this difficult (see my review of the Baby Trend high chair for the polar opposite!). The entire chair is made with inexpensive plastic--one wrong hit or twist will crack portions of the chair. The seat is a tacky, garish vinyl with large ruffles around the top where food tends to gather and crust--I've not seen a single Harmony chair in a subdued print or pattern. The tray is difficult, if not near impossible to adjust or remove with one hand (possibly easier after it's broken in a bit?), and the tray liner is equally difficult to remove. The seat height and tilt adjustment are minor, difficult and counter-intuitive--a s the PP mentioned, they also have a habit of adjusting themselves when the child is seated. The only positive to this chair is a small bar at the back where you can attach bibs. Other than that, I have no idea how this chair has stayed on the market and remained as popular as it has--maybe because all the big-box retailers carry it? Wish we'd had ANY other option than the Harmony for our vacation home purchase.

Pros:
Can find one to match, wipe down pad
Cons:
hard to put together, recline seat broke
|
|
We went through two of these. I liked it because of the color choices but I was so wrong. First the leg broke when I was putting it together which was a nightmare in itself. Very hard to understand the instructions; product most plastic. Then the second one the seat would not stay in any postition but the recline. I put my niece 12 months in it and she pushed back against the seat and it reclined back on its own. Even my 4 month old could get it to recline on its own. We finally purchased the FP Healthy Care, the basic one and love it. I think we padi $99 for the Graco and $69 for the FP one. Go figure!

Pros:
Not too expensive, cute design, five point harness.
Cons:
Difficult to assemble, doesn't fold up very compact.
|
|
We bought this chair since it wasn't too expensive at walmart. It works okay and I like the cute fabric design. Its fairly easy to use, except it takes two hands to remove or attach the tray. I like the five point harness, it helps keep my son from moving around too much while I'm trying to feed him.
Some disadvantages are it is difficult to assemble and the height level is hard to adjust. Also it does not fold very compact so we just leave it set up all the time, which means it is in the way a lot. It isn't a good high chair to buy if you have a small kitchen and need to fold it up. I wish I would have bought the graco contempo instead, since it folds very compactly.

Pros:
This high chair has many great features.
Cons:
Not sooo easy to assemble
|
|
I don't know what the other reviewers were really thinking. I really enjoy our Graco Harmony High Chair in Mocha (which is a subltle blue and tan plaid). It has a toy bar my son loves, is easily adjusted for height, and two different recline positions, and has a very nice basket that I use to hold wash cloths to clean him after his rambunctious meal. I assemble everything in the home by myself (including our crib which I will label as hard to assemble) this was not easy but definitly not as challenging as the other reviewers made it out to be. I love this high chair and am complemented by many for our choice. We only paid $69 dollars and I think it is a great buy.
