Words cannot explain how much I HATE this chair!, June 5, 2007

Pros: Um, it folds up and has wheels
Cons: EVERYTHING else

I registered for this chair because it was the easiest to adjust (height-wise and reclining), had a good sized tray I could take off one handed, and folded up pretty compact. However what I failed to notice is that even in the most upright position it is still to0 reclined. My son was constantly trying to pull himself up. And the tray sits up way too high. I had to put my son on a phone book and he still could barely reach the top of the tray. This made the fun toy tray on top pretty much useless because he couldn't reach any of the buttons to play with them! The chair has cracks and crevices everywhere for food to get stuck in and it's a major pain to clean. The fabric cover is a nightmare to keep clean and faded after the first washing (on cold, delicate cycle), oh and it can't be dried. I finally took the cover off and just used the plastic pad underneath it. The design of this chair is just a nightmare and the absolute worst mistake I made when picking out baby gear.

Ok, but messy, April 4, 2007

Pros: adjustable seat, detachable cushion
Cons: crevices, cushion faded quickly

Ok, overall, it's not a bad high chair. reclinable, adjustable height, was ok while daughter was completely spoonfed. But when she started eating fingerfoods, the tray was too big and too high. She couldn't reach the sippy cup if it was in slot for cups. The little toy attachment was a waste b/c she couldn't even reach it. It says dishwasher safe (and the tray cover could fit in the dishwasher) but the large tray would never fit in my dishwasher. The snack tray just got in the way after a while. Again, fine while she was spoonfed (we would leave the large tray off) but with eating full fingerfood meals, too small. After washing the cushion just a few times on cold, I noticed faded patches. The extra pouch for the side was never used. No point to it... it didn't stay on anyway... so we tossed it.

The absolutely WORST part of this highchair are all of the CREVICES where food gets stuck. I had to get toothbrushes and toothpicks at it daily. It was such a mess and such a hassle every meal, that I switched to a booster seat (with a tray) early. I wish that I had just purchased that in the first place and returned this highchair (that was a gift). Our daughter didn't use it until 6 months when she was sitting up anyway and was switched to a booster by 11months. We could have gotten away with just a booster.

Before you buy a highchair, go and look at them. Watch for those crevices that could be in little arms' reach. This one is a mess!

Pros: Adjustable seat, d/w safe tray liner, seperate snack tray
Cons: Fabric seat

I really like this chair therefore, I can deal with washing the fabric seat every once-in-awhile.

Pros: What doesn't this chair have!! Adjustable height-- so it can be even with your table Reclining seat--I could sit my daughter in it and lay her back even before she could really sit up on her own Casters--I can wheel her all over the kitchen and get her next to me easily. They also lock if I need it to be stationary. Two Trays--A small snack tray that holds baby in and a larger traditional tray that slides in over that. D/W safe tray liner with compartments--snap it off and put in! You may still have to wipe the large tray down a bit, but not near the mess as it would be without it. Tray Storage--pegs on the back of the legs to store the tray. Great space saver Locking Fold--Folds up easily and locks. Sturdy--the legs are wide enough apart to make the seat very sturdy when baby is in.

I could go on and on, but this is a great seat!

Cons: Fabric Seat It would be nice to have a vinyl seat, but it really doesn't bother me. I plan to scoth-guard it to see if that will help a little, but overall nice high chair!
