We were in a hurry to find a crib since Baby Depot gave us incorrect info on stock of a crib. So I checked JCPenney. We found a crib we liked, Heirloom Collection by Rockland in Cherry (on sale about $370), and it was on sale. We also had a coupon code for free shipping to the store. We also ordered the changer and dresser ($280 each).

We ordered it on a Sunday, I think it was in the store by Wed or Thursday. Super fast shipment!!

Had to rent a truck to bring it home, since the boxes were big, but it was still cheaper than shipping would have been. Got it home, started putting it together. A side from the changing table was damaged, so we called customer service. They said they would send out a replacement part right away. Great!! NO hassles at all.

We put the crib together. It's great quality. Instructions were a bit hard to understand, but we figured it out. Very solid.

The dresser was partially made of pressboard which I wasn't happy about, but the top and bottom were solid wood. The drawers were also a bit cheap feeling, but for the price I guess I can't complain. It will do its job for a few years. But it does look very nice.

We received the replacement piece about a week and a half/ two weeks after we called. Not bad at all.

So crib- 'A' dresser- 'B' average- 'A-' since we had good customer service.

We ordered the Tahoe crib in butterscotch through the website and asked to have it delivered to the store to save on shipping charges. It was in stock and came 5 days later so we were excited. When we opened the box at home we discovered it was the wrong color. We were disappointed and had to haul it back to the store. They gladly exchanged it. When the second one came we inpected the box right on the premise and it was the wrong color again!! We ended up refunding the whole order (we also bought a mattress to take advantage of the discount). Needless to say, we will not be ordering any more furniture from JC Penney. Very disappointed at their carelessness.

I was extremely impressed wiht my JC Penney Experience. We order the Cottage Inspired drop down crib in Cherry. We got it on sale for $159 (Regular Price $199) and also was able to use a free shipping promotion that I was sent when I signed up to receive store emails. (We had to have it sent to the store to qualify for the free shipping). We got the crib and mattress within a week from placing the order. My husband and I put the crib together in less than an hour and the directions were pretty easy to follow. We plan on buying the matching changing tower once it goes on sale. The crib is 100% hardwood although I believe the other pieces in the collection are not.

We ordered the Tori crib, dresser and changing station with hutch from JCPenney.com. The hutch was on back order (estimated ship date of April 16th) but the other three pieces were shipped immediately. We received them all within four days of ordering (would have gotten them sooner but we were out of town). The dresser and changing station were of top quality and already put together. My husband and I were both in shock and how well constructed the furniture was. My husband put the crib together within 40 minutes by himself without a sweat. Again, such sturdy, beautiful furniture! Everyone who has seen is has been amazed at how nice it is. The hutch arrived yesterday, more than two weeks ahead of schedule. Again, top quality piece. I highly recommend JC Penney. We have friends who have gotten furniture for much more money that was of a much lower quality. Overall, we paid around $1400 for all four pieces. So impressed!!

I tried to purchase the Baby Cache Crib and dresser online, and it has been the most exhausting experience I've ever had with a store. I ordered the furniture in early October with an Estimated ship date of 2 weeks. Note, One main reason bought the furniture was because it had such a great ship date. Well, after 2 weeks they delayed the shipment for two more weeks, without even letting me know. I had to call customer service (who never has direct contact with the supplier/manufacture r) to find out where my furniture was. All they could tell me was that it was delayed, but it would Definately ship in 2 weeks. 2 weeks later, still no furniture, delayed another 3 weeks. Anyways, after 3 more weeks I got a notice that the manufacturer no longer makes this crib and my order was automatically cancelled. 2 days later I got a JCPenny catalog/magazine in the mail with the exact same crib in it still for sale. (??)I was givin such a runaround for this furniture, I wish there was better communication b/w the customer service dept. at JCPenny and the manufacturer so I could have bought something else somewhere else w/o having to wait 7 weeks. I would NEVER buy anything from JCPenny again, PLEASE stay away if you can.
