Pros:
Quality, beautiful wood, crib-to-twin conversion is genius
Cons:
Delivery takes long time.

We have really enjoyed this furniture. We picked the Natart Theo line in the pecan color. Wonderful quality. The drawers are high quality on the dresser and even "suck closed" like higher quality kitchen cabinet drawers. This is the only manufacturer who does a crib-to-twin conversion that we could find. We won't be able to fit a full size bed - so it is perfect. Very unique design to allow twin bed conversion. Delivery takes a while (12-16 weeks), so plan ahead. We also have the changing table topper for the dresser. Makes changing area very high (and I am 5'8"), but does provide some extra storage. GREAT product. Worth the money as it will last for a long long time. Not baby like at all.

Cons:

We purchased the Natart Madison collection in September 2008. We didn't start using the furniture until November 2009. After about a week of pampered use the armoire doors started to crack at the seems. The store we purchased the set from ordered new doors from Natart and were installed about 6 weeks later. The new doors were also cracked in the same places but were touched up by the manufacturer. I contacted Natart but the didn't care. Today we noticed that the headboard of the crib is becoming detached from the the headboard moulding on top of the headboard. I will be very surprised if this furniture lasts 2 years. We paid a lot of money and expected it to last for a very long time. This furniture was a very bad investment. Stay away from this Natart furniture.

Pros:
Well built, sturdy, will last a long long time!
Cons:
Took a LONG time to get once ordered

We purchased a crib/bedroom set in the Meagan pattern. We got a convertible crib (converts to a twin bed), 5 drawer chest and nightstand, the total was around $2500. At first, it seemed like a lot to spend, but then we realized that this set will last until ds goes to college! The style is basic and not babyish, and not anything ds would be embarrassed to have as a teenager.Overall the quality is great. You can tell by how smoothly the crib rail goes up and down, and how quietly the drawers slide in and out. The wood is just GORGEOUS. We had ours stained a beautiful mahogony, though the other choices were wonderful too. My only real complaints are that it took about 2 1/2 months to get from the time we ordered it, which is on the short end of the 10-16 weeks we were quoted (we were afraid ds would arrive before the furniture!) and that the back of the chest of drawers is not stained. That's only an issue for us because of the placement of the chest in the nursery. Once it's moved into ds' permanent room, you won't be able to tell.Still, those are VERY minor complaints compared to the quality, style and sheer beauty of these products.

Pros:

Cons:

We purchased the Natart Theo crib and dresser for my son two years ago. Our intent was to get him lifetime pieces. Because we live in the city and floor space is at a premium, we were particularly happy to find a crib that converts to a twin bed (we can barely fit a queen in our master bedroom!). The store we went to did not have any Theo cribs in stock, but they did have one of the armoires. The woodwork was gorgeous - the pictures online do not do it justice. We were sold on the spot.We ordered the crib when I was around 22 weeks pregnant. It arrived less than a week before my son was born at 37.5 weeks. I do not know their current production times, but it IS possible that it will take awhile! Assembly was not difficult. My husband did utter a few choice words while trying to install the dropside, but I think that would have happened with any brand. We loved the dresser from the get-go. It is well constructed using good quality wood. The drawers are dove-tailed and have a gentle closing mechanism that is a very nice feature. The finish on both pieces is excellent. The dresser has held up very well to bumps from the vacuum, spilled juice and milk, and general day-to-day abuse. It still looks brand new. And the drawers still open and close very smoothly. My son used the crib until right before his second birthday. The only "damage" it sustained was due to one of my cats jumping on it and digging her back claws in to the drop side railings to propel herself in The wood was scratched pretty badly. But she's a heavy cat and had gravity working against her. I suspect most cribs would have sustained the same or worse amount of damage. And luckily those are the sides of the crib that you do not use for the twin bed, so it was no big loss in the long run. A big plus for this crib is that it was really easy to adjust the mattress level. I thought I'd have to take things apart and instead was done in a matter of minutes. Converting the crib to a twin was very simple. I do wish there were a few more slats to support the mattress, but that may just be me being paranoid. Also, there were supposed to be holes drilled in the molding cap for the head and footboard, but our pieces didn't have predrilled holes. My husband was able to do it, but it prolonged the conversion process. Had it not been for that, it would have been done in under an hour.As a side note, I think switching to a big boy bed was a lot easier both on my son and myself because his crib never really went bye-bye. He watched (and helped as he could) the conversion process and I think he takes some comfort in having the same head and footboard he's always had. Being several months pregnant and emotional already, I appreciated that much of the crib was still there as well. We are so happy with this set that we will probably buy another Natart set for our new baby girl, even though we have a twin bed she could use. We've gotten so many compliments on the set and it's clear it will withstand the test of time. We couldn't be happier. The only con I could think of in fact is that it is out of the price range of many buyers, but then again I believe you get what you pay for. And with Natart, the product justified the higher price tag - particularly since the conversion kit is included in the purchase price. Most convertible cribs "allow" you to purchase the rail kit for an extra $150 to $200, which is absurd when you are paying $600 for a convertible crib!

Pros:
great style, looks good, convertible(from crib to bed)
Cons:
It's breaking apart every time I have to adjust the hight of the matress
|
|
We bought a Logan crib in 2006, along with a set of furniture in Meagan collection. The furniture(night table and 5 drawer desk) is great, looks good and the drawers open and close perfectly. My nightmare is the crib...
To change the hight of the matress, you have to take the matress support out of the bed, and in doing so it's very easy to take some of the screws out of the presswood (wich is wat happened to me). I've been able to repair this with some polyurethane adhesive. But this morning, taking the matress down for my second child, the two lower tracks, wich are plastic, are broken...It feels to me that the concept for adjusting this bed was not thought off at all. Also the Assembly instructions do not seem very acurate( one off the pictures depicts pieces (wood siding instead off metal stabilizer bars) that I do not have.
