This review is based on the 5 times that I have borrowed my friends car seat and stroller, along with her baby for the day. I have a 2001 Subaru Legacy sedan, complete with latch- when you install the car seat in the middle of the bench seat, it tips over, and thats WITH the base installed correctly. The seat base is narrow and creates a high center of gravity for the car seat and never completely sets flat. Next I tried installing it in one of the side seats, and its still iffy when it comes to not moving. Personally I feel that thing aught to be strapped in so snuggly that it isn't moving at all! I literally have taken a turn at 10 mph and found the seat to be at a 45 degree angle on its side. The only way I've been happy stapping this seat in is without the base at all, and using the locking mechanism on the seatbelt. Works great then..... We all thought this stroller and carrier was so cute, but the carrier is almost virtually impossible to securely snap into the stroller! This company has a lot of work to do to make this stroller as functional and safe as the pattern is "nice". I wouldn't even take a free one!
