Pros:
Safety ratings, ease of install, ease of use, great for bigger babies
Cons:
A little wide so may not be ideal for small cars. It fits in our SUV and extended cab of our Tundra.

We originally had purchased a Britax Boulevard as our convertible seat but after a week of struggling, we decided to sell it and buy the Evenflo. We hated how hard it was to buckle our bigger baby into the Britax. He never would have fit in it until he hit the booster minimums. The Evenflo was half the price, safety tested well along with Britax and fit our car and our child so much better. The straps are much longer and easier to adjust and the distance between the back and the center buckle is much better than the Britax. Even rear facing, the adjustment knobs are accesible and no issues using them. It was no comparison. We bought three. One for each car and my mother's car.

Pros:
Straps adjust easily, fits in car well, reasonable price!
Cons:
Seat is heavy
|
|
I bought two of these seats (one for each car) in summer, 2004, when my son grew out of his infant seat and have been quite happy with them. I believe they cost $120 apiece at the time - which meant I could practically get 2 for the price of one Britax. We used the seats rearfacing until my son was about 14 months, then went to forward facing.I love the yellow knobs - they make loosening and tightening the straps to get him in and out a breeze and make it especially easy to change the tightness depending on what he is wearing. The seat has always worked well in our Toyota Camry. We had a little trouble with turning the knobs when it was rear-facing in our Chevy Lumina Van, because the knobs tended to press into the seats, but it generally wasn't a big problem. My son just turned 2 and still seems quite content with the seats.

Pros:
Seat belt adjusting knob and comfort
Cons:
I wish it had higher slots for the straps.
|
|
I LOVE this carseat. I recommend it to all of my friends. It is a much more reasonable price than the Britax seats and I like the strap adjusting knobs much better than any other seat we have tried. The only reason we bought another seat, Britax Marathon, was that the strap slot were higher as our son, at 26 months has outgrown the strap height on the triumph.

Pros:
Easy to install, comfortable for baby, nice size
Cons:
A little hard to figure out at first
|
|
We have this seat for my husband's car and my mom has one, too. We all love this seat! It was a little hard to figure out how to adjust the straps at first, but now that we have the hang of it we love it! The seat is great looking and confortable for baby, too. We have been using it for about 8 months and the straps haven't tangled at all. My son really seems to fit in the seat well and he likes riding in it -- besides safety, that's the most important thing!

Pros:
Easily adjustable straps; straps don't twist
Cons:
Heavy if switching cars often or airline travel
|
|
Love this seat compared to Graco models. No twisted straps and very easy to adjust - especially in winter with bulky coats, etc. Best to keep it in one car - too heavy to transfer between vehicles often.
