Pros: Keeps them harnessed until Jr High
Cons: bulky, can't use it on a plane

I have a Husky and a Regent. There's no obvious difference in the two. I love this seat. My DS outgrew his Roundabout at 23 mos/40 lbs, so I had to find something that would keep him harnessed. The Regent was our only feasible option. I wish Britax still made Denim covers, but I can live w/ the Onyx fabric.

DS is happy w/ his seat. He sleeps in it w/ no problems. I recommend this seat to anyone w/ a big toddler.

Pros: Larger seat, goes to 80 lbs with 5 pt harness, seems comfy
Cons: Very large seat

This seat certainly lives up to the Britax reputation. It is a wonderful seat for larger children who have outgrown (or are likely to outgrow) a standard car seat, but will still need the 5 point harness. The Husky is a forward facing only car seat that will hold child in a 5 point harness until they are 80 pounds. It does not convert to a booster seat - - children can literally stay in the harness until they are 80 pounds or are too tall for the car seat.

This is a very large seat. It takes up the full outboard seat in my SUV. It is very wide at both the base and the shoulders, which is good for my large son, but seriously precludes someone comfortably sitting next to him. The seat sits a little lower than a traditional car seat, which at first limited his visibility out the side window. Once he grew a bit this issue was eliminated.

I really love this seat! It is very comfortable for my son, and very easy to use. The straps don't twist, and the tightening mechanism is easy to use to get a good tight fit on the child. I love that this seat will let ME choose when my son is ready for a booster seat, and not have to put him in a booster simply because of his weight. I'm not sure we'll be using it until he is 80 pounds, but it is nice to have the option.
