Pros:
My son loves the Honey Bee set
Cons:
Cost, very expensive
|
|
My mother in law bought this lady's Honey Bee collection for us from BRU and we loved it, very nice looking and can be used for either a baby girl or boy. We have a boy and well everytime we put him at the changing table he looks up at the "Bee Happy" picture that this lady makes for the Honey Bee collection. We purchased every item for this collection, from the clock, frame, painting, changing table pad cover, curtains, valance, self, bumper set, extra sheet, extra blanket, pillow, lamp and all the basket that fit under our changing table. We found everything item useful and of great quality. I can't say enough about this lady's products. I would have bought her bobby but at my shower someone had purchased one for me but not made for her. I didn't find the bobby usefull because my son would fall through while breastfeeding so I bought my Breastfriend and that works perfectly. I just wish she would make a matching boarder for the walls.

Pros:
High Thread Count (400), on sale at Babies R Us
Cons:
Shrunk smaller than the crib mattress - so much so that it could not be used
|
|
Do not fall prey to the sale price of these sheets at Babies R Us going on right now. I thought "Wow, what a great deal!" and bought two. I washed one according to the directions (wash cold, dry low) and it shrunk a LOT. It shrunk so much that there was no hope of it ever fitting on the crib mattress. It was really bad.

Pros:
Great Texture and removable covers
Cons:
The price
|
|
We have the "bee" bedding for our DS and he just loves it.
It has great quality and the textures are just fabulous.
We use the quilt/blanket for his "tummy time" and he loves petting the different boxes and kissing the bee.
Granted it's a bit pricey, but I got mine off of eBay and we just love it.

Pros:
More sophisticated looking than many bedding options at BRU
Cons:
Poor quality
|
|
I have the Wendy Bellissimo Vintage Garden bedding set available from Babies R Us for $299. The set includes a bumper, crib skirt, crib blanket and crib sheet. Family and friends love the way this bedding looks, and I receive a lot of compliments on it, but my biggest gripe is the quality of the bedding-the crib sheet is rough, and the bumper does not seem to have an adequate number of ties on it. The coordinating window treatment and changing cover were blah and looked dirty -- I bought and returned them. I do not use the blanket that came with this set. I love the vintage floral fabric used on the bumper and wish Wendy would've used it in other accesories. My other big gripe is that this bedding is only available as a set, when it seems like other manufacturers are going the a la carte route. Why didn't I return this? I waited until the last minute to purchase, and I loved the way the bedding looked in advertisements, so I had my heart set on it. Plus it matched well in my daughter's room, which is painted a sage green color that was hard to match up with fabrics. I would not repurchase it if I had to do it all over again.
(PS - for those who love the floral fabric in this collection, check out Celebrations "Country Garden" bedding - they appear to use very similar fabric, their collection is available a la carte, and I've heard their bedding is pretty good quality).

Pros:
Slip covered bumpers for easy washing
Cons:
A little pricey
|
|
I came across this line at BRU and fell in love with the Starlight Collection. I wasn't even shopping for bedding yet. I'm not into any themes or cartoons and this was perfect for my taste, nice muted colors.I was luckly enough to come across a marked down set that was used as a floor model and there was a promo at BRU for 15% off Wendy Bellissimo so I bought the set for $170! Since the set was on display I needed to put it through the wash, the slip covered bumpers were so easy to remove and wash. They held up perfectly! I just air dried and ironed and they looked new!Overall I am very happy with the set. It is on the pricey side, if I did not come across the set on sale, I would have waited for someone to buy it off my registry.
