Pros: Cute designs
Cons: Sheets not as soft as I'd prefer

We purchased items from the Kids Line Jungle 123 collection for our son's room. We chose it because of its gender neutrality (we placed the order before we knew we were having a boy,) and because it was the only design in baby bedding that my husband and I didn't think was too "cutesy." Also, it is not pastel, but full of rich, primary colors as well as greens and browns. It is perfect! We purchased many accessories (skip the diaper stacker and the quilt though...both would be a waste of money.) I wish the sheets were softer, but I'm sure that with several more washings, they'll soften up.

Pros: Lots of pieces in the set, affordable, lots of accessories
Cons: Bumper ties are a little short

For my first DS I wanted something that wasn't pastel or blue and something that could grow up with him. When I found the Zanzibar set by Kidsline I thought it would be perfect. I bought the 6 piece set and paid about $169.00 which I thought was a great price. My son is now 19 months old and the set has held up great. The bumpers were nice and thick and had ties at the top and the bottom. The ties were a little short and that made it a challenge to get them around some of the thicker posts on our crib, but I managed to get them secure. The different textures and fabrics on this set are really great and my son loved "petting" the animals. The sheets have elastic all the way around and have washed up well. Although I use the ultimate crib sheet on top of them, so they don't get washed all that often. I also bought the matching rug, lamp, and hamper and have been really happy with all of those as well. It's great that Kidsline offers so many matching accessories. Overall I've been very pleased with this bedding set and I'd recommend Kidsline bedding to others. I think for the price the quality is really great.

Beautiful Arcadia Collection, September 7, 2005

Pros: Great textures, adorable, reasonably priced, gender neutral
Cons: Only available at BRU in a 6 piece set; sheets are thin

When I saw the Arcadia quilt hanging on the wall in Babies R Us, I thought "It's perfect." The neutral pastel colors and cute jungle animals were key because we didn't know if we were having a girl or a boy. It also appeared as though there were a variety of materials, like satin and chenille, used to make the decorative parts of the set, like the quilt and bumper pads. Knowing how tactile infants can be, I immediately imagined the quilt spread out on our living room floor with our little darling playing on it...and enjoying all the different textures. There are also lots of matching accessories (off the top of my head: blankets, nightlight, wall hangings, pillows, lightswitch cover, rug, lamp, mobile and wallpaper border) for those that like everything to be coordinated.

I started to doubt my choice when BRU finally displayed the full set with a furniture display so that I could get a close look at it. While I still loved the textures and how soft the designed parts of the set were, I wasn't happy with many of the other products in the set. For example, the sheet seemed scratchy and was so thin I could read the mattress tags through it. To make matters worse, I learned that this bedding was only available as a 6 piece set, which meant that I would have to buy some items that I didn't really want or need, like the sheets, if I were to make this choice. I also was unhappy to learn tht the set was only available at BRU, so I wouldn't be able to find it any cheaper than their $189 price (not that it's unreasonable...but I like searching for deals. )

I looked everywhere for the next couple of months for a bedding set that offered all the benefits detailed above, and would have better quality throughout the set. I couldn't find it. I found sets that either looked like adult bedding, or made my head spin because the different colors, materials and textures were so busy. My husband finally got exhausted by my quest and ordered me to get the Arcadia bedding.

Now that I have the set, I love it. I was surprised at how soft the sheets and other scratchy parts of the set became after just one washing. (The sheet is actually 100% cotton and has elastic all the way around, so it's secure on the mattress.) The sheet is still thin, (we're using Halo sheets instead) and there have been quite a few straggling strings that we've had to cut away. For these reasons, I deducted a couple points on my quality rating, but all in all, we're very happy with our choice.

Very cute pattern and LOVE the quilt and bedskirt, September 2, 2008

Pros: Soft quilt and bumper
Cons: The sheet is awful!

I just received my Love Bug bedding set by kidsline, Carter's line. I love the design and the quilt, bumper and skirt are amazing. However, they advertised that the sheet was 100% cotton and when I received it, it is actually 65% polyester and only 35% cotton. It seems very stiff and uncomfortable, so doubtful I will even use it. Has anyone else had this happen with Kidsline?

Pros: beautiful pattern, comes with a lot, option to buy extra pcs
Cons: some of embroidery loosened in the wash

I have the Clothes Line pattern for my little girl , and I LOVE it! I found it on sale at Great Beginnings (website) for 135.99 reduced from 159.99 plus I used a 10% off coupon (gbbaby) so it came out to something like $122. I wanted extra sheets and was able to get them separately (the elastic on them goes all the way around by the way). The set comes with 6 pieces and each piece is very nice on its own. You can also get every accessory imaginable to match (hamper, picture frame, light switch cover...) My only issue was that some of the embroidery detail on the quilt came loose in the wash.
