I bought a Cotton Tale bedding set for my son in 06 and loved it so much that we just got another one for the baby we are expecting in 09. My son has the Chocolate Zebra set and it has held up extremely well. The design is fun for him, but not baby cutesy. The new baby will hopefully enjoy the Artic Babies set. The fabrics and designs of Artic Babies are just gorgeous! I just got it and it looks magnificent in a cherry-color crib. I cannot say enough good things about this brand. The designs are great, as is the quality. Artic Babies cost about $160 for the 4 piece set, so the price was very reasonable for the quality!

I just purchased the 4 piece (bedskirt, sheet, bumpers, comforter) Pirates Cove bedding set for my next baby. I love that it's not your typical baby bedding set. I got it online for about $189.99 on sale. I also purchased the matching musical mobile for about $43.00 on sale. So a bit pricier than the average set at Babies R Us. But buying it online saved me a lot of money over purchasing it as a specialty baby store which was my only other option. The set itself is really good quality. The fabrics are soft and plush and have lots of different textures for exploring hands. The colors are rich and vibrant. The bumpers are nice and thick and have long ties on top & bottom. The sheet has elastic all the way around. I've washed everything once so far and it all still looks new. There are more accessories available to match the set (lamp, toy bag, hamper, diaper stacker, etc), but they are kind of pricey in my opinion so I'm just going to accessorize with solid colored items. I think that will keep it from looking to "matchy-matchy" too. I like that the set comes with 4 pieces instead of 6 because I really don't need the window valance or the diaper stacker.
