Pros:
Durable and stylish
Cons:
Wish sheets were softer but doesn't seem to bother DS.

We have the Cocalo/Baby Martex Varsity Baby set for DS. The set looks great and had held up very well after 28 months of use. We are transitioning DS to a big boy bed soon and I hope to sell this set b/c it still looks brand new....hth Oh, we paid approx. 225 for this set w/ decorative pillows......

Pros:
bright no fade color, lots to match.
Cons:
thin sheet, Hard to find set
|
|
I love the apple hill set that we bought for my new daughter. Girly and sweet without being frilly and overdone. Not so crazy about the two different sheets. I also wsh more stores had sold this set so I could have found more peices. The sheet is thin but other than that I really liked the fabrics.

Pros:
cute design/colors, soft bumper and quilt
Cons:
disappointed with crib sheet - feels like plastic
|
|
I love the bright colors and design of this bedding! The quilt and bumper have corduroy and chenille that are really soft. The ties on the bumper pads are a little short but are working fine for our crib. My only complaint is the crib sheet is 70% poly/30% cotton and feels like plastic. Although our son isn't due for a few more months, we'll definitely be getting replacement sheets for his crib.

Pros:
Great colors (either gender); nice fabric
Cons:
Bumper ties too short!
|
|
We decided not to find out the gender so we were a little limited in our selection. This set seems appropriate for boy or girl and I am pleased with the bright colors - very happy looking. The quality seems good. The bumper pad comes with ties on the top and bottom (as recommended) but they are not long enough - especially at the corners. We can get it tied on the corner posts but it is tight and troublesome (our crib does not convert so our corner posts aren't huge). Overall, pretty pleased.

Pros:
Soft fabrics
Cons:
lousy bumper ties, thin sheet & ruffle
|
|
I ordered the Baby Martex Sweet Vanilla set from jcpenney.com. There were two delays from the manufacturer, but it shipped about 4 weeks later. It arrived well-packed.The blanket and bumper have beautiful cotton and chenille fabrics, and the blanket has a soft fleece backer. The appliqued sheep, stars and moon are well-sewn.In contrast, the sheet and dust ruffle are rather thin -- I can see my hand through them. The sheet just fit the matttress, without washing, so I suspect it will shrink. The biggest frustation is the bumper. The ties are only 4 inches long! Although my end posts are thicker, they aren't long enough to stay tied even on the standard size slats. The bumper is also much thicker than it appeared online, and even when tied, sags downward in between the ties, presenting a smothering hazard. I'm returning the set to JCP and am back on the hunt for a set with longer bumper ties and better quality sheets.
