Pros: all around elastic, good price
Cons: Very tight fit on mattress

We purchased 4 Amy Coe crib sheets at Target. I have been very happy with them so far - none have shrunk in the washer or dryer and the fit the mattress snuggly...almost too snuggly as it is a tight fit to pull the last corner on. I would definitely consider buying more of them in the future.

Alphabet Soup: Great product and great price, August 19, 2007

Pros: Love the design and the price
Cons: Target shipping. Check out Ebay instead

I bought the Amy Coe "Alphabet Soup" bedding for my son's crib. I wanted a print that was nostalgic of baby gear and fashions from several generations ago. I really don't like a lot of the baby crib sets that are out on the market, or the huge mark-up that stores sell them for. When I saw the Amy Coe collection on Target's website, I knew this was the set for me.

At the time I purchased this item, Target's website listed Alphabet Soup al-a-carte. I bought the bumper, comforter, and dust ruffle separately. That was a BIG mistake. The comforter and dust ruffle came, but not the bumper. Target back-ordered the bumper for two months and then emailed me that they no longer had it in stock. Shame on you Target!! I then went to Ebay and realized that Amy Coe also sells this collection as a set, and I wanted to kick myself for not looking on the internet first for a better deal. Moral of the story: always do your research first. Luckily I was able to eventually find a seller on Ebay that had listed the bumper separately. In the end, I paid a good price for each item, about $20 for the bumper, $7 (clearance) for the dust ruffle and $13 (clearance) for the comforter. But I paid a lot for shipping.

I do want to mention what a great product Alphabet Soup is- it's a shame that Amy Coe discontinued it. I love the soft color blue that is used, and the print is so cute and subtle. The material is good quality and washes really well. The comforter comes as a duvet cover with an insert, both machine washable and very easy to clean. I commend Amy Coe for making such a great product at such a great price.

Pros: stylish design, non-character design
Cons: coordinating items aren't an exact match

We bought the Amy Coe Sorbet Splash crib bedding collection from Target and love it!

Pros: color is versatile - you can coordinate just about any yellow or pink bedding or decor items with this crib set.

design - The stylish design and coordinating items have the look of more expensive crib bedding at an affordable price.

price - excellent value

availability - coordinating items can be found on the Target web site (often with free shipping or a discount) and also on eBay.

Cons: Bumper issues - ties are a little too short and require some finagling to get them tied onto crib slats. Bumper also does not have a cover, which really isn't a big deal considering the price.

color issues - the colors on the coordinating items don't exactly match the colors on the bumper, but now that it is set up in our nursery I don't really notice it.

Other notes: I'm not so hot about the curtains that go with this crib set, but I did buy them so that I could have additional fabric to make other items (basket liners, pillows, draft dodgers for the windows, etc)
