Pros:
Picks up even the small noises your baby makes.
Cons:
May not last that long.

This is a great monitor, when it works. You don't have to have it up loud at all to know when your baby makes a noise. It even picks up my child's breathing at times, which is especially useful when she has a cold. Mulitple channels give you flexibility for the best connection - we've never had a problem with interference, though. Only downside is that the base quit working on us after 5 months of use. We tried other brands but went back to this one because it's worth the risk of it quitting on us again.
