Pros:
Less $ than the bug, separate seat and bas - no fabric swap
Cons:
There are many - please read below

After a lot of consideration, I decided to buy the Uppababy Vista. As soon as I got home I unloaded it from the box and put it together. As soon as I was done I took it all apart again, loaded it into the box, brought it back to the store and bought the bugaboo.
I was unhappy with the uppababy for the following reasons:
1. It's huge! - the couple of inches in the width compared to the bugaboo makes a big difference - I could barely get it through the doors in my house, let alone the crowded supermarkets.
2. Parts of the stroller just looked cheap i.e. - the welding at the base of the stroller looked like it was done by my toddler.
3. One reason I decided to buy the uppababy was because you could fold the stroller with the seat on it. However, you can only fold it if the seat is in the forward facing position. So if the seat is not facing forward, you have to take it off and turn it around. So it very often will end up being a two step fold - just like the bugaboo. In addition, once it is folded, (with or without the seat) it's very bulky. It takes up much more space in the trunk than the bugaboo.
5. Getting the bassinet and seat to click into the stroller frame was difficult. It's much easier with the bugaboo.
6. I bought the graco car seat adaptor for the uppababy and although the car seat clicks in by the head, the front just rests on a bar and you're supposed to use a lap belt to secure it. It seemed very unsturdy to me. With the bugaboo, both the back and front of the car seat clicks into the frame - much more sturdy!
These are the things that bothered me after owning the uppababy vista for just a few hours...
I exchanged the uppababy today with the the Bugaboo. I've already put the bugaboo together and I love it already!

Pros:
Easy to push, all the extras
Cons:
Wide wheel base
|
|
Most the reviews here have hit the nail on the head, so I'll try not to repeat everything that everyone has already said. I'll just say that I agree with all of the positive things that have been said. This stroller is great. When I first got it, I was a little concerned. I had a hard time getting the seat and bassinet to attach and getting it to fold. After a couple of times doing it everything loosened up and works great now, so don't get discouraged if it seems like something is wrong. My only complaint is that the wheel base is huge. I wasn't expecting it to be so big, but after trying it out, I still love it and I can deal with the wheel base since it runs so smoothly and has all of the other features I wanted.I bought this stroller sight unseen. I had been researching and reading reviews and I really wanted to get it. I had a great experience with Laura from country moose kids (the website was recommended by a user on the message board). I got a $30 discount by using the code "discount", free shipping and when I e-mailed her explaining my concern about buying it without ever seeing it, she assured me that she would be happy to take the return if I didn't like it and said I could have a week to decide. One more thing, someone has mentioned that it's a little tall for short people. It's definitely taller, but I'm 5"1' and I'm not having any trouble pushing it. The height is really nice, I'm able to push it right up to the table when I stop at a cafe and my 7 month old feels like she's in the thick of things.

Pros:
Durable and comfortable to use everyday and travel with
Cons:
Difficult to reach basket when bassinet is attatched
|
|
We are happy with our UppaBaby Vista. It seems solid and durable and we are very comfortable walking around the city with our baby. Once you figure out how to collapse the stroller it is simple to do and makes it easy to load in and out of the car. We also like the height of the stroller, which makes it easier to get the baby in and out of. The convenience of the car seat adapter is a plus as well. We have the Graco car seat and it makes travelling by car easy. The only negatives are the wide base, but I don't know how different that is from other strollers, and when the bassinet is attatched it is difficult to get to the storage basket.

Pros:
sturdy, handles bumpy roads - big basket - super easy to use - lots of sitting options for baby
Cons:
ummm... it doesn't walk itself? I have no real cons!

This is my favorite baby product! We used it as a moving bassinet around our house when my son was a newborn; when we put the carseat on I loved that it didn't go on top of another seat; now he can face towards me or away (and there's a great window to see him if he's facing away. It folds up and out in seconds and never gets stuck, and fits well in my little car - even in the back seat. I think the simple colors are attractive. It goes over our bumpy roads and dirt paths through the school grounds without a problem. It has a nice big basket that is easily accessible; I can fit in three big stuffed bags (especially if I load them in without the seat in). I had one question, and when I called their service line the agent was super-helpful for figuring out my problem. And I LOVE that my son is a little higher than where he would be in traditional strollers - closer to me, and a more interesting view for him.An even bigger endorsement.. my husband thinks it's great! He was very sceptical about why we needed to spend so much money on a stroller, but he loved how easy it was to set up, and since then "like the uppa baby" is his way of saying "quality baby goods!"

Pros:
Quality of product, Rubber wheels, Maneuverability, Handle, Bassinet
Cons:
The brake is hard to use, but it works!
|
|
We can't say enough good things about this stroller. It was expensive, but well worth it. We used the bassinet as a sleeping bassinet for the first couple months. We could easily carry it from room to room, and even travel with it.The stroller is great. The maneuverability is perfect -- so much easier than other strollers I have used. We love it!
