My favorite stroller of all time!, June 10, 2005

Pros: Great steering, large seat and small fold
Cons: No recline and no basket

The Quinny Zapp is an awesome stroller for kids that don't need to be reclined. It has the best steering of any stroller I've owned. It folds up small enough to fit in the tiniest of cars. (You can actually fit two of them in the "trunk" of a Mini Cooper. ) Plus the seat is generously sized, so that older kids are comfortable. Both my 17 month old and 3.5 year old enjoy riding in this stroller. My only complaint is the lack of basket. Love, love, love this stroller!

Excellent stroller for traveling and to keep in the car, July 16, 2005

Pros: it folds ups very small and very easy to maneuver
Cons: it doesn't recline

We bought the Quinny Zapp while visiting family in the UK after Virgin Airlines was kind enough to throw our Bugaboo around the tarmac breaking the chasis.

We've been very happy with the Zapp. While the Bugaboo is being repaired I've used it everywhere and I walk all over town a lot (about 5 miles a day). I like that it folds up compactly and that I don't have to check it at the gate when flying since I'll never trust that airlines with a stroller again. I also like that I can push the Zapp one handed while drinking iced coffee and talking on the cell phone at the same time. It has a coolness factor since we have yet to see another one as we walk the streets of Cambridge/Boston and the suburban malls... people frequently comment on how cool it is.

The drawbacks to to the Zapp are 1) the seat doesn't recline and my son is only 5 months old and frequently falls asleep on our walks 2) it can be bumpy on the brick sidewalks. Other people may not like the lack of storage but that doesn't bother me.

We paid 130GBP for the Zapp.

Great little stroller but has some annoying features, October 31, 2005

Pros: Compact fold, great steering and comfortable ride
Cons: Clumsy fold/unfold, harness gets stuck and no basket

This is our stroller of choice right now, mainly because it is comfortable for my son, is small and compact and steers wonderfully. It is definitely a stroller that gets noticed for its sleek look. My son is very happy in it - more so than any other stroller we have had.

I have had some problems with the fold/unfold of the stroller - it is really cumbersome and annoying. I can deal with getting in and out of the car but wouldn't want to tote it around public transportation having to fold and unfold often. Recently, I've had trouble releasing my child from the harness - it gets stuck. I'm not sure why this happens but it's hard to engage the unlock button sometimes, which can be ridiculous.

I wish there were a storage basket but I have had no problems hanging bags on the handles when my child is sitting in the stroller - it has never tipped for us.

Pros: Small Fold for Compact Cars
Cons: No Basket, No Storage, High Price

Very interesting stroller; neat design, tiny fold, great steering; also has a decent sun canopy. Doesn't have any storage though!

This is a great stroller for someone w/ a compact car; wouldn't use this stroller for alot of outside walking though.

Also, the seat isn't adjustable.

A very good, but not full-featured, small-folding stroller, June 10, 2005

Pros: TINY when folded, smooth steering
Cons: Difficulty of fold, no stroller basket

The greatest benefit of this stroller is its size when folded; it folds down to about the size of a large umbrella, which makes it perfect for stashing in the trunk or the overhead compartment of an airplane. It also had wonderful steering, and can be turned in a circle with one finger. My son seems to find this stroller very comfortable, as do other children I've observed.

There are a number of cons people considering this purchase should be aware of, however. Number one is the difficulty of folding and unfolding it; there is a learning curve to this, and it can never be a one-handed operation. I no longer have difficulty folding or unfolding my stroller, but it's not as easy as I understand many strollers are. The other cons are the lack of storage on the stroller itself; the fact that if you hang a bag from the handles to compensate for the lack of storage, it becomes unbalanced and prone to tipping; and the lack of adjustability of the seat (no recline).

Despite the cons, I love this stroller. It's seen me through a solo flight with my little boy when he was not quite one, and despite having to fold and unfold it each time I passed through airport security, I wouldn't trade it in if I could. A final note: the quality of this stroller seems to be very high; I think it will hold up to heavy use for a long time.
