Pros:
maneuverability and compactness for a double
Cons:
seats are not great, accessories are necessary ($$)
|
|
In total, I must have paid in the $600 -$650 US range for the stroller, the doubles seat, and the double storm cover.
Overall, I love the stroller. It is awesome as a double, mainly because you don't feel like you're pushing around a bulky, heavy stroller. However, a few things really irked me about this stroller:
(a) when I used it in the newborn/ toddler position, there was NO WAY to secure a newborn in the flat position. The straps are WAY too big and there is so much space that my baby was just lost in the seat and would roll around if I tried pushing the stroller. You cannot use this stroller for a newborn unless you get the P&T cocoon - more $$. But I refused to get it because my baby was born in the summer and it was boiling hot, and also because you would only use it for about the first 3 months. So I actually put the baby in the car seat and then stuck the car seat under the double seat. It was a tight fit, but it worked. He didn't mind- he was nice and tight and it induced sleep.(b) Now that my baby is 6 months old, he can sit up comfortably in the doubles seat, but not in the main seat. It is too big for him and it is angled very sharply so he is uncomfortable in it. And again, the straps are WAY too big. So when I only have my baby with me, and not my toddler, I actually put the doubles seat on top of the main seat and then place the baby in it. He doesn't seem to be bothered by the fact that it doesn't recline - he still falls asleep rather easily in it.(c) You really need a BOB console, or some kind of thing like that because there is nowhere to store your keys or snacks or anything at all. (d) storage basket is pretty much inaccessible when in doubles position. Don't have a panier bag but will probably end up getting one at some point (more $$)(e) Not crazy about the feel of the seat fabric, it's sort of rough and scratchy, but definitely durable. Again this could be solved by purchasing more of the P&T accessories.(f) Personally, I don't use this stroller for anything other than walks from home. I find it is a pain to fold and lift into the trunk. Both my husband and I have had our fingers pinched because when folding the stroller it has a quick release at an unexpected angle, so it closed down on our fingers. Ouch. But it is doable as a trunk stroller. I'm just used to the easy fold and lightness of the Mac.OK, so it sounds like I don't like the stroller, but I really do! Just this stuff made me frustrated. Overall it's a great stroller and I would choose it again.

Pros:
Pushes like a dream, great for the mall & the trails
Cons:
No cup holder, no storage, folds oddly
|
|
I love this stroller! It pushes beautifully one handed (unlike my old double tandem) through tight stores and into those annoying double bathroom doors. And my 2 kids weigh 67 pounds combined. I was surprised, but my kids like to ride in both the top & bottom seats. We'll have a new baby in a month & I love the fact that I won't have to buy a new stroller to accommodate an infant. This stroller adapts well to our changing needs. It converts to a single easily too. And my super picky, engineer-of-a-husban d LOVES it too! He actually doesn't complain about the $550 it cost me.The main negatives were 1)lack of cup holder 2) lack of storage space 3) folds oddly. To make the stroller workable, I had to add a horizontal organizer and some saddlebags both from www.carryyou.com. Still haven't figured out a solution for the hard to fold part- the only reason this stroller isn't a 10! But after 4 months of researching what is out there, I would definitely buy this stroller again!

Pros:
It's like having two strollers in one
Cons:
Fold is tricky, lack of sun protection for rear rider
|
|
I really like the versatility of this stroller. I have a 4 month old and a 2 year old so this is an ideal stroller for their age difference. The fold is somewhat tricky and takes some getting used to taking off the toddler seat quickly to access the newborn bed. That being said, it is a great stoller to use as a double instead of a traditional side by side double which I find too wide. It steers very easily and I love the air tires. I added the Bob console for $20 and it fits perfectly!

Pros:
Double handles like a single, great for inside and out!
Cons:
Not 100% satisfied with quality
|
|
My daughter was 22 months old when #2 arrived. The E3V2 is a mutant that inherited many good features other doubles cannot compete with. Pros:
It handles/steers superb, fits thru any door, any store. The wheels are great in almost any terrain. The baby lays down flat. Cons: The harness thingy is huge. Overall Quality could be a tad better.I love this stroller, it fits me and my needs perfectly.
