Pros:
Light, Easy Fold, Big Canopy, Smooth Ride
Cons:
2 hand fold
|
|
We love this stroller. We've been using it for over a year and have hardly any complaints. I love the big canopy for sunny San Diego; it's relatively light and easy to fold (although I'd love a 1 hand fold). I find the basket is adequate and love that the matching diaper bag fits perfectly on the back of the stroller with out being too bulky. I highly recommend this stroller - it's worth the price.

Pros:
light weight full features toddler board full recline canopy
Cons:
no cons--ok you can't jog with it
|
|
This stroller rocks. Seriously.
P3 does so many things and does them well. It is great for infants as it accommodates an infant seat and fully reclines. The comfy seat, snack tray, and full coverage canopy are great for babies. My toddler loves the freedom of the floating harness. I love the removable snack track so he can get in and out himself. I have also removed the canopy and made the stroller even lighter weight and easier (of course adding it on for an outside event is a snap). He has recently discovered the toddler board and it has been a lifesaver.
I have removed the padding and washed it in my machine several times with no problems. The fold is really easy and I can do it one handed while holding baby in a pinch. It has a handle on the side for easy carrying while folded (airport, trains, trams etc) The stroller steers wonderfully and isn't tippy with bags on the handles. It is just fine for walking outside.
If you only want one stroller this this is a great pick.
I really can't say enough great things about the stroller. I really feel like I got my money's worth. My son is 2 and we are still feeling the stroller love.

Pros:
Canopy! light, one handed open/close, adjustable handles
Cons:
access to basket, cup holder is skimpy
|
|
THE BEST!!! It's so lightweight. I can open and close it with one hand. Lift it in and out of my car while holding my daughter in the other arm. It stands upright on it's own (great while stored in the garage! Stays clean). Reclines all the way back. The infant seat snaps into it. The adjustible handles are great for us as I'm 4'11" and my husband is 6'. And the ABSOLUTE BEST PART!!!! THE CANOPY!!! It's huge! It's the best one I've seen! We can block our daughter from the wind, the sun... so great!
We've used this stroller for 14 months already... recently I have noticed the occassional squeak... but really not bad and not continuous. Access to the basket is from the front.. so it's a little difficult to stuff large diaperbags or bags under it. The cup holder is fine for water bottles or fast food cups... but isn't as sturdy as I'd like. Overall, I do recommend this stroller... a lot! I'd buy it again in a heartbeat! I just wish they made a double so nice!

Before I start - I believe that there is no ideal stroller. These manufacturers should employ Mum's to design these things the way they should be!We bought this stroller late in 2005 when my son was about 3 months old. I borrowed a different stroller up until then as I was do so much research to ensure we bought the right stroller and wasn't ready to commit to one when he was born. This stroller is pretty fabulous. I love the canopy and completly covers my son when he is sitting up - however when he reclines the canopy goes up - as it is attached to the back of the seat. The umbrella fold is great and it really is quite compact when folded. I have found that the canopy is a little crooked now (1.5 years later) because it seems to get a little squished in the back of my car when the stroller is closed. The recline is good and I love the way you can position the edge of the seat - near where their knees go - for younger and older children - up for smaller children to give them more leg room and down for older kids so they can use the footrest. It is definitely manageable to get in and out of the car.The cup holder is pretty useless and actually fell off around 4 months after we bought it. And don't get me started on the basket - close to useless. I normally end up taking diapers, wipes, sunscreen out of my baby bag and just dropping them in there. However you can hook a bag to the handles so I do that sometimes as well - I have very very heavy bags and it has never tipped the stroller. We actually took this stroller all the way from NY to Sydney, Auckland, Tahiti and back to NY when it was about 4 months old. I used it all the way through the airport and then put it in a bag so that we could pick it up at the other end of the flight. It was amazing for the trip - however since then it has squeeked a little and that is when the cup holder broke. ALL IN ALL - I really have loved this stroller. It was a great choice. In the same situation I would buy again. Since this stroller we bought a fixed wheel jogger (which we don't use much) and I have just ordered a Bob Revolution Duallie as we need a double now - I am hoping the Bob can be as good to us as the Peg was. I plan on using this when I am back to one passenger - when my oldest gets to big to enjoy a stroller ride - but I still have the little one in a stroller.

Pros:
Easy to maneuver, nice look, comfy for child
Cons:
$$$, useless basket, useless cup holder, hard to open/close
|
|
This stroller has too many flaws for $280!! First of all anyone with kids knows they don't always stay in their stroller. So it's very important to me that it have a big and easily accessible basket and a good cup holder so that I can have my hands free to hold my child when needed. This stroller's basket is accessible from the front of the stroller which is inconvenient and then the opening is so small I can't put my diaper bag in it! So I always have to hold my diaper bag. Then the cup holder is so small it's useless. It takes 2 hands and some maneuvering to get the stroller open or closed. It takes too long and when I open mine I still have to manually snap the front legs in. The harness is easy to use, but the child lays against a plastic piece which is uncomfortable. Lastly, the canopy on the stroller isn't big enough. When I pull it forward it always snaps off of the back. I am a first time Mom; I didn't know any better before I bought this stroller. I do not recommend it!
