Best purchase yet. Easy to use, HUGE basket, lightweight, sturdy, easy fold, January 23, 2008

Pros: So lightweight, easy to use, great for tall parents (5'8", 6'4"), easy to fold
Cons: None - that they outgrow it when they outgrow their infant carseat !! I don't want to give it up!

We were totally overwhelmed with all of the stroller choices, and took the advise of Baby Bargains to buy a stroller frame for the early months with our infant. This was a great idea!

So why this stroller frame (versus the less expensive ones)? Well is it great for taller parents, it has padded handles (which surprisingly is a nice feature!), and has two handles (vs. a single bar) which makes it very easy to maneuver, and has a HUGE basket. This is the single best feature as I did most of my shopping these early months with my son in the carseat in the stroller frame and simply put groceries in the basket below the stroller. I was not comfortable putting him in the grocery cart.

I can't stress how much I love this item!!

Pros: lightweight, easy to fold, great steering
Cons: tips easily when car seat is removed

I bought this to use with my Chicco keyfit carseat and it fits perfectly. It was actually the best fitting frame for my carseat in my opinion. I needed something small to fit in my car because my Cortina stroller took up the whole trunk area. It has a very compact umbrella fold which is great and it steers very well one handed. The basket is very big. I have travelled with it and also love it for shopping. The only problem I've had is when I have my diaper bag and purse hung on the handles and I forget and take the carseat off or the baby out of it to hold her it will tip because it's so lightweight. I think the pros outweigh this con and I'll be so sad when she outgrows her carseat and I have to buy another umbrella fold stroller.

Pros: steers great, really light which is great because we take it in and out of the house, steers great
Cons: it was the most expensive universal and it was hard to find free shipping, real stores didn't carry

works great with the snugride. i can't recommend a universal stroller enough, any universal.

Perfect for the city and cheap!!, April 16, 2007

Pros: Lightweight, lot of storage underneath, inexpensive.
Cons: Sometimes awkward to fold and unfold.

We bought the Easy Traveller stroller frame b/c we honestly couldn't decide which stroller to buy. It was inexpensive ($70) and could easily fit any car seat (we have the Graco SnugRide) so we could delay our stroller decision at least until she outgrew the car seat! (Part of our difficulty lied in that we weren't sure exactly what our lifestyle would require.)

Well, it turned out to be a great purchase for our current lifestyle! We moved to Buenos Aires for a 1-yr work assignment and it maneuvers well on the bumpy and broken sidewalks here and is small enough to get around cafe tables and chairs. It is very light, steers easily with one hand, and maneuvers in tight spaces very easily.

We don't have a car so this stroller works well in the taxis. Just pop out the car seat and slide across the backseat, while hubby folds the stroller and slides it on the backseat floor (or puts it at an angle in the front seat). When we walk to the grocery store or the shopping mall, we can stow a ton of items in the basket underneath the car seat. Sometimes to fit large items, we need to remove the car seat first but most items will slide in from the front. It is also a nice stroller to use for relaxing walks in the park. We see no immediate need to get another stroller at this point!

The con is that it can be awkward to fold and unfold. In principle, it is easy to do but we can never seem to remember the combination of unlatch this, kick that, push down on this.

Overall, I would recommend this stroller for anyone who is uncertain on what their lifestyle may require and want to "wait it out" before laying down a lot of money. I also recommend it for anyone who lives in the city and must rely on taxis or public transportation as it is light, takes up little space and folds up very small.
