Pros:
Easy to use, great basket, works with SafeSeat
Cons:
Latch doesn't work, Hard to steer,
|
|
I would buy this again. It works with Graco's Safe Seat. The first one I brought home from BRU had a faulty latch - so I exchanged it and the second one did too. It isn't the best ride - but I didn't expect it to be. The cup holders hold a Starbucks Frappucino and that's all I could ask for. I would not put open cans of soda or hot beverages without secured lids in it because they have a tendency to spill all over baby.

Pros:
very easy snap in and light, basket pretty good
Cons:
clunky open, sticks easy

Paid $59.99 at BRU
Actually, did okay on the dirt trails by my house, but I am blessed with a heavy sleeper.
I have an SUV, so I rarely closed it unless the dogs were riding and then I made my husband open & close.
Next time I would save the $60 and buy a top of line stroller that the snug ride fits in, like the Zippy.

Pros:
Light weight, small size, good features
Cons:
Basket a little hard to get into
|
|
I love this stroller frame. We had decided on the Graco SafeSeat infant car seat and were looking for a good stroller to go with it. All of the actual strollers were quite heavy and/or bulky. Also, since this was our first child, we didn't know what features we would like or would actually use. With this stroller frame, we have light weight (great for me), adjustable handle height (great for him), a low price, and lots of features found on regular strollers. Once our little one outgrows her infant car seat, we'll use our experience with this stroller to pick out a regular stroller for her. As an added bonus, our SafeSeat is black/red/grey and looks great with this frame. I have found that if I pack the diaper bag too full, I have trouble getting it in and out of the basket. I'm still not certain if I need everything I put in the bag or if I can travel "lighter". I paid $59 at BRU.

Pros:
Light-Weight, Flat Fold, Large Basket
Cons:
Bumpy Ride, Locking Mechanism, No One-Handed Steering
|
|
My husband and I bought this stroller frame at BRU because we could not decide on a stroller, but we definitely wanted the SnugRide car seat. It has been a great stroller. I am particularly happy with its light-weight and compact fold. My husband and I have smaller cars and we travel often. This stroller is compact enough that it can be tucked behind the seats of our cars if there is not enough room in the trunk. The basket is large, and we load it down when we go out. I agree that the cup holder can be a little precarious, and I would be careful with hot beverages, but it works well when out shopping. The only time that I notice a bumpy ride is when we are out on uneven pavement or off-roading at the soccer fields. I have still been able to maneuver it on the grassy fields as well as I would expect with any stroller. The only complaint that I might have has to do with the locking mechanism used when you are folding the stroller. Sometimes the wheels rotate, so that they get in the way of the fold, and the locking mechanism does not latch. I end up having to open the stroller to rotate the tires and then fold it, so that it latches. Also, this stroller was not really made for one-handed steering. These are really minor complaints, and they would not deter me from buying the stroller again.Overall, this was a great buy, and we have been really happy with it. I have recommended it to several friends who have been overwhelmed with all of the stroller options out there. For all that it offers combined with the price, it really is a good deal. Of course, we are getting to the point where we need to find our next stroller, and we are still undecided...

Pros:
Carseat snaps in securely, lightweight, durable
Cons:
Bumpy ride, fold seems bulky for the size of the frame
|
|
Borrowed from a friend (so it's been through one baby already)I have a Peg Perego P3 and was planning to just snap my carseat into that, but I had two complaints. The P3 was so heavy, I hated lugging it out of the car, and I didn't feel my carseat was secure in it since it didn't actually snap in. So I borrowed the Snugrider from a friend.I love that it is lightweight and easy to get out of the car. The Safeseat is a large, heavy infant seat, and the Snugrider frame is so easy to use I rarely carry the seat - I just snap it in the frame. I hang my diaper bag from the handles.Only minor complaints - compared to the P3, the ride is bumpy (but that's comparing a $60 frame to a $300 full-featured stroller). Cupholders are small, but I don't like putting open cups right over my baby anyway (especially hot coffee - yikes!). Although the Snugrider is lightweight, the fold is somewhat bulky - it takes up most of the floor of my trunk, meaning I usually pile groceries all over it. All in all, I think it's a great convenience, particularly if you have a winter baby and don't want to take her out of the carseat until you're inside where it is warm.
