Pros:
It has everything, and it's cheap!
Cons:
A little wobbly at times, and the it's not considered trendy
|
|
I don't understand why everyone doesn't own this stroller. It has everything - different patterns, big accessible basket, child tray, parent drink holders, recline, and it's light. And it's cheap! Other than the fact that it wobbles a little bit if you're really rough with it, it's great! It's lasted 2 years so far with my first child, and i intend to use it fo my second.

Pros:
comfy for baby, cup holder, ease of steering
Cons:
bulky
|
|
My son is now 8 months old and we've been using this stroller since birth. He seems comfy in it whenever we go out. Used a friend's stroller one day and learned how happy I am that I got the metrolite. It's so much more lightweight and easy to steer than some out there. I think it ran about $200 for the stroller and car seat in tandem.

Pros:
light weight, huge easy access basket, smooth ride
Cons:
ummm....
|
|
I got this stroller in 2004. I noticed them that there were two different reclining mechanisms depending on which pattern you got. The one I have has a bar you lift up on to recline the seat. Very easy to do with one hand and you don't even have to look to see what you are doing. At the time I bought this stroller, it was the only one that had this neat mechinism that lowers the basket so you have complete access to the very large underneath storage basket whether the seat is reclined or not.It is a very smooth ride. I never have problems on rough sidewalks or gravel paths. It is also light weight very easy for a weak mom like me to life up into my high SUV.
My daughter loves it as do I. I think she is very comfortable in it. it has two cupholders for mom and one for baby to.
No complaints here.

Pros:
Roomy basket, parent tray
Cons:
Uncomfortable for baby, bulky
|
|
We bought this travel system while I was still pregnant because it seemed to have a lot of good features for not a lot of money. It does have a very roomy basket (you can still access it with the seat fully reclined and the carrier in; maybe some other reviewers have a different/older model?) and I really like the cupholders. Other than that, we hate it.The biggest problem we have is that our daughter cries everytime we put her in it. The slot for the crotch strap is very far out and the back doesn't have great support (there is only a string pulley system to recline the seat). Thus, she always ends up slouching in this seat and I think she finds it very uncomfortable. We went shopping for a new stroller and immediately saw differences with how well she could sit up in other strollers. She actually sits up and looks around quietly in other strollers.Even though this stroller is fairly light, it is still very bulky, which makes transporting it a pain. It takes up most of the room in my trunk (Toyota Camry). The handle bar is adjustable, but not enough. My husband is 5' 11" and his feet hit the back. Very annoying. If you haven't had your baby yet, I would recommend waiting to buy a stroller. Use the infant carrier with a stroller frame at first. Then when your baby is older take her/him to the store and see which ones s/he likes.

Pros:
Super basket, parent tray, and folded size
Cons:
Sun shade not fabulous, Not sure about durability
|
|
We bought the MertoLite stroller from BRU after throwing our Maclaren Global out the window (ok, not litterally, but the thing was a piece of junk and litterally lasted only 8 months). We LOVE this stroller. The basket is so easy to get to and so big. The parent tray is so handy for a drink, and the folded size is great - this stroller fits in the miniscule back of my MINI cooper. Also love the Graco harness that lets you choose 3 or 5 point, and the child tray has been good as well. The brakes are easy to engage and disengage with your feet. The sun hood only comes in at so-so. We've only had it about 5 months, so I can't yet speak to durability, but it's doing better than the Maclaren Global so far. Also never had DS in it as an infant (bought when he was 8 mos.), so couldn't speak to it's suitability for that. Even if the durability ends up not being so good, we can afford 3 of these for what we spent on the Maclaren. The adjustability of the handle could be a bit better - DH is 6'4" and finds it uncomfortable for long walks. Overall, I'd highly recommend this stroller.
