Great lightweight travel stroller, June 10, 2005

Pros: Easy to fold/store; small in size when folded; lightweight
Cons: Front wheel locks; inaccessible storage; price

I bought the Savvy Soho stroller (Crimson) for a long road trip and it has turned into my "keep in the trunk stroller" for quick trips.

PROS: - I love that when it is folded, all the wheels are on one end only; makes it easier to keep dirty wheels away from other things in the trunk (unlike standard umbrella folds which result in wheels on both "ends" of the folded unit). - It's very lightweight - I love the bottle pocket and storage pouch on the back of the canopy

CONS: - The front wheel swivel locks are annoying. My 2 yo daughter is constantly locking them accidentally when she puts her legs down over the sides. - The storage basket is relatively fine in size for small things, but the stroller-carrying strap is attached in a way that it gets in the way when you try to put things into the basket. - Doesn't really stand on it's own well when folded.

OTHER THINGS TO CONSIDER: - This is NOT an all terrain stroller! It doesn't handle rough terrain or uneven surfaces well because the wheels are so small. - Everything must be removed from the basket and hood pockets before folding. - Can easily convert from a 5pt. harness to a 3 pt. harness if needed. - No parent tray! - Comes with a napper bar, not a snack tray. - Very slim in size (great for small stores, etc.)

Overall, I would say that I'd buy this stroller again as a travel stroller. Mainly because it is so compact in size when folded and is better quality/more plush than your average umbrella stroller.

you can do better for the money, January 11, 2006

Pros: folds flat, fairly lightweight
Cons: lousy sun coverage; many aspects of stroller are awkward

I received this as a gift and don't know the price, although it had just come out and I suspect it was over $100.

Yes, this stroller folds up flat and is fairly lightweight. But on the other hand this stroller has mediocre handling and a short canopy with minimal coverage and adjustability. Furthermore, folding it completely flat (getting it to lock shut) is not simple and absolutely cannot be done with one hand.

I think this stroller is not worth the money new. If you can find it used for under $50 perhaps it would be worth it to keep in the trunk. If you are looking for a new foldable stroller, try a different brand. I would not buy a Combi stroller again after this.

Lightweight, good mall stroller, June 11, 2005

Pros: Lightweight, easy to fold
Cons: Small storage, not good on sidewalks, no baby cup holder

I bought this stroller for my daughter to use for neighborhood walks. It did not go well on sidewalks -- the wheels are too small. I also found the storage basket to be too small.

On the other hand, it performed very well in the mall and was easy to fold.
