Pros:
Steers very well, light, nice shoulder strap
Cons:
Flimsy canopy, hard to fold, inconvenient basket

|
I bought this stroller a year ago and decided to keep it after reading the good reviews from amazon.com.
I've used it quite a bit, in Pittsburgh, New York City, San Francisco and suburban California.Pros:
* It steers wonderfully; much better than my Pliko. No problems with potholes etc. This is the best part about this stroller.* It is very light (11lbs.) and relatively compact (although quite long/tall). I was able to carry the stroller, my 24lbs. son and a heavy backpack while riding the subway and going up and down the stairs with no problems.* It has a nice shoulder strap.* It seems a good choice for tall parents (it's about as tall as Pliko on its highest setting)Cons:
Most mechanisms do not work smoothly:* It does not fold easily. Theoretically, you should be able to fold it with one hand while carrying the baby; however, I found that almost always impossible. Most often my first attempt to fold it was unsuccessful (pretty annoying if you also have to look after a toddler). Also you have to lock it with a small plastic lock which is pretty cumbersome to use.* The canopy is terribly flimsy. The cloth tends to slide away from the two metallic pegs. I almost lost it once while I was carrying the stroller on my shoulder.* Maybe this is specific to my stroller, but, for some reason, the buckle does not buckle unless the two parts are very finely aligned. Again, most often I had to try more than once to succeed.* The basket is very small and hard to reach.* The handles are not ergonomic at all.* It is longer than other umbrella strollers and might not fit in some car trunks or might take more space than necessary (if you put it diagonally in the trunk).Overall, I would say this stroller is worth exactly what I paid for it ($50 at BRU). I do not recommend it for people who need to fold it often. While it steers very well, I was not impressed with its overall quality.

Pros:
Basket and canopy; maneuvers well
Cons:
Short handles and canopy can slip off when not in use

I registered for the Chicco Capri because I wanted something a little better than the cheapie umbrella strollers, but didn't see the need for a $150 one. For $50, I've been very happy with it. It maneuvers very well, and I like that it has a canopy and a basket, and for a relatively inexpensive stroller, I think the quality of both is fine. The canopy slips off it's frame when folded back, and the handles are a little too low, but from what I hear, this is pretty standard for umbrella strollers unless you go up to the pricier ones. These are the only problems I have with this stroller. If you can afford something like a Maclaren, I'd go that route for the height of the handles alone, but overall, I would recommend the Chicco Capri.

Pros:
Lightweight, small, easy to fold, great for trips!
Cons:
Poor quality, small & hard to reach basket.

I paid $49.99 at BRU and that is probably about what they are worth. They are great for trips to the zoo, supermarket, anywhere you need something lightweight, small and easy to maneuver. The quality is overall poor, the basket is small and very hard to reach. Terrible handebar designs, I feel like I am hunched over to reach them and I trip over the bar between the back wheels. Great steering and handling. Overall I would say it's better than the $15 or 20 umbrella strollers b/c it does have a canopy and basket, plus 5 pt harness.....but if you are looking for an everyday stroller to last you, then don't buy this one, invest in the real deal.
