Pros:
Drives like a dream, spacious, versatile
Cons:
One wheel has needed a few air fill-ups (minor issue)
|
|
Everyone in our neighborhood has a Bugaboo Chameleon (or if they’re hurting for cash, a Bugaboo Frog). ;) My wife and I argued forever about whether $900 was too much for a stroller, until our little one has almost outgrown the bassinet feature. Now buying a Bugaboo would be a partial waste because we won’t use the bassinet much longer.Enter the Bumbleride Rocket, a feature-packed stroller that’s much less expensive but with great styling that makes my wife happy. It drives like a dream. More details, pro and con:Pros:- Very smooth ride.
- Much easier to push than our previous, plastic-tired stroller (a Peg Perego).
- Comfortable for the baby - nice padding, a variety of inclines (including completely flat).
- Large basket.
- Can change the baby right in the stroller because it can lie flat.
- Great styling.
- Most importantly, Bumbleride stands behind their product. When the zipper broke on our canopy, they sent another canopy no questions asked. I like this company.Cons:- When canopy is unzipped (so that the top can rotate farther forward if the sun is pointing toward the baby) , the back piece of the stroller fabric sometimes won’t stay up. There should be additional snaps so it stays upright, for wind protection. We are thinking of putting in a couple snaps or velcro ourselves. (We have the 2006 model.)
- One tire has needed a few fill-ups. The others have been solid. I think it might have a pinprick hole in the inner tube.
- Doesn't reverse so that the baby faces you while sitting up. But if you like the seat flat, the baby can lie in it like a bassinet and face you, and when the car seat is in the stroller, baby faces you.

Pros:
comfortable and stylish for the price
Cons:
none so far
|
|
We love this stroller so far. We went from a snap and go to this stroller and the difference in how they "drive" is really something. I had no idea how uncomfortable the snap n go was until I drove my bumbleride! It is really easy to manuveur one-handed and makes walking the baby and the dog very easy. We also love the adjustable handles because it's very confortable for both my husband and me to drive. I keep telling myself I need to get an umbrella stroller for the car, but so far I haven't done it. I have had no problem getting the bumbleride in and out of our minivan and so far have had no problem getting around in stores with it. I think it's very fun and stylish. We've received lots of compliments on how it looks and people are always amazed that it cost so much less than the bubaboo (350 vs. 800). It doesn't come with many accessories, but I haven't missed anything so far.

Pros:
Looks great, moving around even for a jog, fits carseat
Cons:
Wheels not perfectly round, small parts broken,no hand brake.
|
|
We have this stroller in use for 4 months now. The rocket looks great and many people asked where we bought it. It moves great and the handle bar can be adjusted in heigth. All the wheels not perfectly round ang wiggle. The brake for the rear wheels is falling down on the locks so wears off and makes noise. One of the rear plastic joints has a small crack. Checked with bumbleride and they sent replacement parts without much discussion. Responses were quick and precise.

Pros:
Swivel front wheel, cushy cushy ride, one handed steering.
Cons:
Stroller is big and straps are a little loose.
|
|
So after exhaustively researching the available swivel front three wheel strollers, I saw this one in a store near us and fell for it. It had all of the features I was looking for, for just slightly less than the some of the others I liked, weighed in a couple pounds less and came in that wonderful red color. Overall, I totally recommend it. However, there are a couple of drawbacks. My baby is small ( 18 pounds at 10 1/2 months) and we can not seem to get the shoulder straps to fit snugly enough. When she was smaller, I put a kidopotamus snuzzler thing in there and that helped a lot. It doesn't fold terribly small, but when compared to the Zooper Boogie, it seemed small. The rear wheels are easy quick release and without them on, it fit in the trunk of our 89 3 series BMW. Its great on the trails, though I live in a hilly area in northern california and I often wish it came with a safety tether. The cold weather foot muff it came with was awesome when my daughter was younger during the winter. The adjustable handle is great for my husband and I to both be able to use it comfortably. The fabric is easy to clean - which is helpful since I have a "happy spitter". You'd hardly know it by looking at the stroller. Overall, I love it, but it did force me to get an umbrella stroller as well just for running errands. There just doesn't seem to be a perfect stroller out there ( for less than $700).

Pros:
Cushy ride, easy to steer, great upholstery
Cons:
Lack of rain and/or wind cover.
|
|
Love this stroller - my baby has a wonderful cushy ride that just glides over bumpy sidewalks, asphalt and grassy lawns. I am very pleased with the one-handed steering- it is very responsive and turns on a dime. The fold is an easy two handed book-style fold and actually is a bit more compact that I would have imagined considering it's size.
