I love our Bugaboo Frog. First of all, I admit that I am extraordinarily shallow and that I love the way it looks, but in my defense, our 7 month old seems to really love this stroller too. The way the seat is shaped, it cradles him in a comfortable position and doesn't allow him to slide down like other strollers do. The fact that you can have the seat face you or away from you is a godsend, especially since you can adjust it so that the sun doesn't hit the baby in the face. The bassinet was cool, too, for the brief time he used it. We live in Los Angeles and drive everywhere, and I find that the controversial two part fold on the Bugaboo Frog isn't that hard once you get the hang of it. After all, even the lightest umbrella stroller requires SOME set-up, so it's not that big a deal, as far as I'm concerned, to spend an extra minute or two to set up the Frog. I'm not robbing any banks with the baby in the car -- I don't need to make a quick getaway. The suspension is so good that it's actually fun to walk along bumpy streets. Although the Frog is expensive (and we ponied up a little extra for the limited edition denim version -- $875 or thereabouts), I like it better than any stroller I've ever owned, and I'm on my second kid and seventh stroller. In short: I wouldn't rack up credit card debt over it, but if you have the cash and you love the way it looks, I think you'll be very happy with the Bugaboo's performance.

Cons:

This is a fabulous stroller, well worth the money. We paid about $800 including tax, assembly, and I think a few extras such as the bag clips and peg car seat adaptors.
After over a year of constant use, the stroller still looks and feels brand new. Very well made. Excellent engineering.

Pros:
Smooth Handling, Longevity, a Work Horse
Cons:
2 piece fold

I truly love my bugaboo. I bought this stroller at the end of 2002 for around $700. It has been used by my 2 1/2 year old and now my 7 month old. It has been checked on flights (they were not gentle with it ), disney, and the beach and except for some loosening of the elastic that attaches the sunshade it looks and performs like new. I too was intially put off by the price, but it has outperformed so many of my girlfriends strollers that had to be retired along the way. I think the price has averaged out.The negatives are the 2 piece fold which can be cumbersome when catching cabs or other transport, and the small basket. But overall I have been really impressed.

Pros:
bassinet for baby, great steering, reversible handle
Cons:
price and 2-piece fold
|
|
- First of all the bassinet option is the best! My DS was so comfy in it, he had his naps, walks outside and inside (home, mall, park). - We traveled with it and it was great. We took the chassis with an adaptor and a car seat to the airport. My DH carried the folded bassinet in a travel bag. Before boarding DH put the chassis to the bag and we gate checked it and I took DS in his car seat to the plain (we bought him a seat). It was so convenient! During the connection we got it back so I just put the stroller on the chassis. I would never check it with a regular baggage, I just afraid they will damage it. But I read here that people checked it and it was fine. - The way I use it: for the quick jumps to super or mall I use a carseat with an adaptor. If it's for a long walk - I transfer him to the bassinet so he'll be comfy and not restrained as in a carseat.- The accessories I have - carseat adaptor - I would highly recommend getting graco carseat and adaptor. We played with both (peg and graco) and graco is much easier to use and more massive (peg seems too fragile). We have the travel bag - highly recommended and parasol - also great.
I also had a black diaper bag but I didn't like it, used couple of times and sold it on ebay.
I also got a footmuff for winter - perfect!
Forgot to mention: I have it in Aubergeen and the color is so beautiful and unique!!!
To make the long story short - it's the best $700 (more with all the edds) I ever spent!
