Pros:
easy to clean, no ruffles!
Cons:
Tray removal not toddler-proof
|
|
We got the FP Healthy Care in Jungle Plaid in early 2005- had a coupon for TRU. (Can't remember final price). It's been a great chair, easy to clean, and we liked that the Jungle Plaid print didn't have ruffles.
On the con side, my son figured out how to take the tray off at 14 months, so we can't use the tray anymore. Slid it up to the table for a while, but then transitioned to a booster to save space.

Cons:

We paid approximately $65 with a coupon for this high chair at BRU.This is a great high chair. We have the Jungle Plaid pattern which doesn't have any ruffles around the edges and the vinyl is very easy to wipe clean. The tray release and the recline are truly one-handed and easy to use. The dishwasher safe removable tray is very handy. My baby even likes to chew on the little toy that come with it, and I just throw it in the dishwasher to clean.

Pros:
Moves well and the tray comes off with one hand.
Cons:
Seat collects Cheerios.
|
|
We've been using this highchair for about six months. Our 10 month old does well in it. It cleans up easily, moves easily to other rooms and is gentle on our hardwood floors. It's great for those one handed times too. The tray comes off with one motion from one hand. Our only complaint is the seat. The padded portion has just enough gap in it (where the between leg bar sits) to college oodles of Cheerios. I just pull it up a little to brush them out for my puppies to clean up.

Pros:
Tray insert, 5-pt harness, toys, locking wheels
Cons:
Doesn't fold up very small at all
|
|
I have the Aquarium version. Usually $90, but found it at Target for $72. The vinyl is easy to clean and I actually like the colors and the ruffle. The 5 point harness is very secure, but with the "submarine bar" built into the seat, baby stays put easily without it. She loves the toys -- the aquarium sounds make her laugh and the tethered toys on the side are fun and great for teething. I love that they are tethered so I don't have to keep picking them up. The height and seat tilt are easily adjusted and assembly was not difficult at all. I also like that the tray snaps on from above, rather than sliding in from the front -- less opportunity for baby fingers to get in the way. The tray also has a one-hand remove/adjust handle. I feel more comfortable knowing the tray insert goes into the dishwasher daily. It doesn't fold up as small as I'd like, so I just roll it out of the way when we need the space.I recommend the Aquarium version. I'd certainly choose this high chair again.

Pros:
Easy to clean; reclines; 3 trays; adjustable height
Cons:
Glue holding velcro pieces on is not very strong.
|
|
We have the Healthy Care Deluxe (2003 model?) that was carried by Target and is now discontinued. The cushion has no ruffles along the edge to keep clean - bonus! DD is 27 months old and still loves this chair not only for eating but for coloring. It has held up fantastic!
