I just ordered my Creations crib, dresser, and armiore. I am so excited to see how it turns out. It looks beautiful, sturdy and well thoughtout. I hope all my expectations are met! I rated it a B+ until I receive it and use it.

Pros:
Best value I found after searching online and in multiple stores. Love the look.
Cons:
The furniture is very, very heavy. There is so much wood in these that they are difficult to move.

Purchased from Just Baby and Youth in Riverside, CA. I didn't believe Cindy (the owner of the store) at first when she said she often received items from Creations in less than 2 weeks. True enough, she called me only 9 days after ordered the room set and said it was ready for delivery!!! I purchased the April crib, combination dresser, and a chest. All came out of the boxes in great condition. I would recommend Creations to everybody in S. California about to have a baby. And I also think I should mention how great Cindy was to us too.

We have the Heritage 3 in 1 crib and dresser which only comes in cherry. We bought it from a local store, Cribs 2 Bunks in Tukwila, WA and the set took 3 weeks (quoted 2-4 wks). Both pieces were $799 on special. Regular prices were about $500 for each so we got a great deal. The crib is very sturdy and beautiful. What's great is that the toddler rail comes with the crib. Most other brands have you pay extra. It took my husband only 30 min to put the crib together. Our delivery guys told us to attach the foot and headrails first to the headboard (different than the instructions) and it worked out fine. My only complaints are that in the highest mattress position, you cannot put the bumper on; this maybe because of the sleigh style. There were a few small dings on the crib but looks like it happened before the crib was finished so it's not noticeable. I am not surprised being that Heritage is made of pine which is the softest of the woods that Creations uses. The dresser is a nice piece, comes assembled, looks like adult furniture. We are short, so we were unable to use the dresser as a changing table. Another brand we were considering, Bonavita, had a shorter dresser. So we ended up ordereing a cheap free-standing changing table from Angeline, and the cherry color was pretty close. One small problem with the dresser for us: the dust cover on the bottom had come off on one side so now we need to get a staple gun to put it back together. All, in all, a few small gripes, but in the area of looks, quality and function, Creations is excellent!

Pros:
I spent less than I thought I was going to and feel like I got more than I had hoped for.
Cons:
There was a definite new furniture smell; however, this did fade away in a couple of days.

I bought the Summers Evening crib, dressing station+hutch, armoire, and nightstand from Baby World & Big Kids II in Denver. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and really helped me at every step. I was looking at Babies R Us at the Munire furniture there too. The stuff at BabiesRUs wasn't in stock and the sales manager there said the line I was looking at there 1) didn't have a matching armoire, and 2) the dresser would have to be 'special ordered' which could take 3 months. The Creations at Baby World really wasn't that much more expensive but seems like it has twice the amount of wood in it (my husband told me I purposefully chose the crib that weighed the most to get back at him for what this pregnancy is doing to me). I am extremely happy with Creations & wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I put my money down and had my furniture before the month was out. Everything came out of the boxes without any of the problems I read so much about in some of reviews I see in Baby Bargains.

I was worried that going to a specialty shop would be more expensive but my set from Creations was priced the same as many of the "F" rated sets at the major baby stores. The store I ordered from had one piece in stock and the others had to be ordered. I was told it would take 8-12 weeks for delivery but 2 weeks later the store called and the rest of my order arrived. All of the pieces had the same finish (a concern since they weren't all ordered together), they are very sturdy and look great. The minor con was that the door on my dresser was loose - nothing a screw driver didn't fix in 10 seconds.
