Pros: Overall quality for the price
Cons: Can't think of any yet

We bought the Simplicity Aspen Deluxe 4 in 1 crib in Harmony. This crib comes with a drawer, mobile, night light and a vibrator for the mattress. We don't know what to do w/ the vibrator (we suspect it's used to soothe baby) but all the other features are pretty good. The wood is nice and sturdy. We paid $105 before taxes for this crib. This is a deal considering the features this crib has. A definite good buy!

Pros: convertible, metal mattress support, hidden hardware
Cons: poor quality!!

I have the Simplicity Alex 4-in-1 Convertible Sleep System, model # 8664C and I paid $299 for it from babyuniverse.com. So far this purchase has been nothing but a headache. First off, it was on backorder for several months, then they sent me the wrong crib, and then a few months later they finally sent me the correct crib. Unfortunately it arrived damaged, so I had to call Simplicity to order replacement parts which were also on backorder. When I finally received those, they were damaged too! So yet again I had to order more replacement parts!

Well, I finally got my crib together and have been using it with my daughter for several months. However, the drop side hardware jammed and so I had to call Simplicity again for replacement parts. This time they promptly sent me the wrong parts, so I had to call back to reorder the correct parts. They sent the correct parts, but now I have to take the whole crib apart to fix it! What a pain!!!

Think my story might be an isolated case? I bought the matching combo from Simplicity, and I had to reorder parts 5x because they kept sending me damaged pieces!

My advice? Spend your hard earned cash on something of better quality!

Pros: AT this point none
Cons: Broke 15 minutes after first use

Bought Aspen 3in1 from Target $206 with shipping as a second crib. After Assembing the crib I placed my 21 lb eighteen month old in the crib and within 15 minutes THREE of the supporting slats from the matress cracked and her litttle legs went sliding between the mattress and drop side! Scratching her calves. To say the least Target customer support was excellent! Not to my surprise 4 months later the cribs were recalled for faulty screws on the slats
