Cons:
Nothing I didn't like

I was very happy w/ this product. It was easy to install, easy to take in and out of the car and very comfy for my daughter. I love that it so highly-rated safety wise and wish it could be used for longer (although it would become impossible to carry!)

Pros:
easy to carry, felt safe
Cons:
baby outgrew height far before weight

We loved this carseat. We used it with Kolcraft Universal carrier, it was perfect. We had bases for two cars, which was very convenient. The seat felt sturdy and secure. I agree with a PP, the only things to make this carseat perfect would be if the height limit was a little bit higher, and if the handle was more ergonomic.

Pros:
Easy to use and to install!
Cons:
The base needed to be tightened regularly.

A great car seat for the money. Our baby was always very comfortable and happy to be in the seat. It did tend to become loose regularly and required tightening on a regular basis. We had a larger child and met the height reqirements at 4 months.

I was swayed by the Baby Bargains review and the safety ratings to initially go with the SnugRide. The Graco SnugRide was used daily as a carrier and as a carseat, and overall it exceeded my expectations.
* It fits most car makes/models, and I had no trouble installing in the center rear seat of my four-door car.
* I really appreciated the ability to secure this to my non-Graco stroller (a Zooper)!!!
* I replaced the infant head support that came with the SnugRide with the Snuzzler (which I also highly recommend) because the support that came with the SnugRide was too wide for ample support of my newborn's head. (It would probably be adequate for an older infant's head, but I didn't try it.)
* The straps and buckle were easy to use, and both Grandmas also quickly learned how to adjust them to the right tightness. I liked the chest buckle better than the Evenflo chest buckles because I usually had to try the Evenflo chest buckles twice due to mis-alignment (user-error, but one I couldn't seem to avoid). Two things I would change:
(1) increase height maximum so it's possible to use this carseat longer
(2) make the handle more ergonomicBottom Line: I highly recommend the Graco SnugRide

When we were at the hospital and had to strap our baby into a car seat I was amazed at how big it seemed. I was so glad that we didn't start out with a convertible, she would have been swalled up whole. With the addition of a snugglizer (I think thats how its spelt) she seemed really comfy for many months. I was also really happy with how it held up, I'm going to use it for baby #2. It also had a very cute unisex fabic, which was key because we didn't know the sex of our baby before the birth. Another great option is a snap and go with the snugride, the two work great together. I put off buying a "real" stroller until dd was about 6 months old.
