Pros: Safety, Comfort, Ease of use
Cons: Can be difficult to install

We paid $89.99 for our Graco Snugride in the Heatwave pattern at Babies R Us. We had a difficult time installing the base in our two vehicles (we bought an extra base so we wouldn't have to move it once installed). The instructions are difficult to interpret, but after visiting a carseat installation technician we figured it out. We really like how easy the carseat is to use after the base was installed though, it's easy to pop in and out and works with our Zooper stroller just great. Only thing we would change would be to make the handle easier to grip, it's a little awkward to hold.

An affordable infant carseat, June 10, 2005

Pros: affordable, many fabric options, readily available
Cons: low weight/height limits

The SnugRide is an affordable infant carseat. This is a good thing, because my son outgrew it at three months old! As with most infant carseats, the weight and height limits are pretty low. Although we only were able to use it for a short period of time, it was useful in that the entire seat could be removed from the car. This was something I really missed when we moved up to a convertible seat.

Pros: Easy to find, inexpensive
Cons: fabric choices not the best

Increasingly there are more options for an infant car seat., But the graco snugride is an easy to find, inexpensive solid choice. As long as you get a model that has its straps tighten from the front of the seat rather than behind it is easy to use and safe. I also like that in a pinch it can be safely placed in a car without a base (good if you are traveling and will be using cabs or a rental car. You will have one less thing to drag with you.) We used ours until our son was nine months old and we were sad to have to give it up

A Wonderful, Safe, and Comfy Ride, August 19, 2005

Pros: The variety of styles, ease of use, and 5-pt harness
Cons: None that I can think of!

I absolutely loved the Graco Snugride we used when my friend Nichole's baby was born last September! I purchased the Bentley Bear Model for $79.99 (a steal) on sale at BabiesRUs for a shower gift for her as a second seat to use in her husband's car and for us to use since we keep him everyday while she teaches. She also had a Costco E.B Infant seat that she used in her car.

I didn't realize exactly how wonderful it was until she dropped him off one day and left me with the E.B seat. The Snugride is an extremely lightweight seat compared to that one which I couldn't even carry by the time he was four months old and I love the 5 pt. harness that the Snugride uses. (The E.B. has one too, but it's very difficult to buckle). It was incredibly easy to snap in and out of the car base and it easily adjusted on the base so that he would be in a good position.

I love that Connor was completely comfortable in the seat from day 1 to 9 1/2 months, he never fussed, he always fell peacefully asleep and he'd often sleep in the seat even after we'd get him out of the car. The handle was very easy to adjust and the hood was a nice touch. I also love the designs that Graco adds to their products because you can go with the sweet and simple baby designs, or if you're more into the shapes and patterns you can go with those. The designs can be very classy, or fun and colorful and all are very tasteful in their own way.

It must be said that Graco does a wonderful job... I'd have to say the thing I love most about this carseat is that after 10 long months of everyday use, it STILL looks brand new! And because of that quality, we will most likely be able to use it for many more years and a couple more babies!

Pros: Baby is so comfy and safe in this seat!
Cons: none!

I think I paid $129 for this seat. We got the G collection with the gracopedic foam. First off, this seat looks so sharp!!!!!!!! DS loves it, snuggles right down into it and rides in style. It's VERY easy to use, which is especially helpful since I'm a new mom. It is a little more expensive than the other snugride models, but I felt it was worth the money for all the "extras."
