Pros: Sturdy, easy to use, never worried a minute!
Cons: a little hard to attach bumper b/c of chunky bars

I was given the Baby's Dream Generation Next Crib and Hi/Lo dresser. My father bought the floor models and recieved 10% off. He ended up paying $517.50 per item before tax. We chose this set b/c it met our requirements - solid wood throughout, sturdy construction, timeless style and an appearence that appealed to both my husband and me. We have been nothing but pleased with both pieces. We have been using them for over a year and have never had any trouble. The drawers pull out very smoothly and hold plenty for us. We will probably be purchasing the hutch attachment later this year since we are using it as a changing table less often.

My husband put together the crib in about 45 minutes. This was one of his first construction projects and he said that the instructions were very clear and easy to understand. It has never wabbled or felt unsturdy. Since our daughter has exceeded the hundredth percentile since birth and is not known for her gentleness, I feel like that's saying alot. I recently purchased standard teething pieces at a local baby store and they slipped on perfectly. She has tried to pull them off, but they are very snug and she has finally given up.

The only source of frustration I have with either piece is that b/c of a few chunky slats, it's difficult to attach our bumper. We have a Bannana Fish bedding set that I believe has standard length strings on the bumper. We made it work, but it is frustrating when we take it off to clean it and have to put it back on again. I would highly recommend these two pieces. We are looking forward to converting the crib as she grows. We feel confident that she'll be taking it with her to college when the time comes.
