The quality is average, but the customer service is the worst we've experienced ever!, July 16, 2008

Pros: average quality
Cons: The customer service from the home office in Canada.

We are a retailer in the north east who pride ourselves on honesty and timely delivery with our customers. Understandably, there are sometimes shipping delays with every manufacturer that we have to accept.

However, when a company is so used to shipping delays that they have to invent excuses and misrepresent the truth, we cannot accept that for our customers. Pali's North American office in Canada is guilty of this. We have three very recent examples where we we waiting for cribs for three different customers.

One customer has been waiting for a crib since March 17th 2008. It is July 2008 and we are still waiting for this crib. Some of the numerous excuses used varied from custom delays to the cribs were mistakenly shippped back to Canada (where they were originally shipped from!) As a retailer, we get just as frustrated as our customers do when shipments are delayed.

Add to the fact that very few Pali cribs are actually manufactured in Italy. Most collections will now be manufactured in the far east. For the customer looking for high quality nursery furniture 100% manufactured in Europe, we recommend Romina Furniture. They will cost a little more, but they are 100% beechwood, and are made to high european standards.

For those wanting something a little less costly, we recommend Natart, Bonavita, or Ragazzi. Again, vendors like these who manufacture in the far east may be experiencing some delays, but atleast the integrity of these companies are currently respectable.
