We did a lot of research on cribs and dressers, including reading the Baby Bargains book. We stumbled upon Romina after a return visit to a small baby shop--it had just been placed on display and we were told it had just entered the market in the US. We were impressed by the quality and construction of the pieces: solid wood, dovetail joints, childsafe drawers. No particle board or flimsy glides. The crib side raises and lowers smoothly with little noise. We ordered the Violini 3 drawer dresser and Adamo crib, both in natural. The dresser cost $699 and the crib cost $595--definitely in the high-end range, but on par or less expensive than Natart or Morigeau-Lepine. And the quality was as good or better. We felt that the dresser was actually pretty reasonable, given that it is a piece our son will have for many years (consider how much it costs for an adult dresser!). Everything arrived in 8 weeks, with no problems. We have been very pleased and would recommend Romina to anyone who wants to spend a bit more for their nursery furniture.
