Forever Mine problems . . . again

Stop us if you've heard this before! Forever Mine, the mail order furniture company, has generated several more complaints from readers that have been emailed to us in recent days. Here is a sample (below). We've asked the company for a response, but none so far.

Another complaint about Forever Mine Furniture...

First there was a fire. Now there are problems with the machinery. Does it ever end? You might want to reconsider that B+ for the next book. We ordered furniture from Forever Mine and was told delivery was 6-8 weeks. Four weeks later we are being told there are machinery problems and delivery won't be for another 6-8 weeks. What will go wrong in the next 4 weeks? What will come first, the furniture or the baby? Customer Service? What Customer Service! All I can say is I took my chance with this B+ company and I got burned. Maybe Forever Mine should be downgraded to the C level.

Update: 4-1-05

We received an email from Forever Mine about this situation:

Yes we have been behind but only on one model crib--the All American crib. One of our sub contractors had machinery problems which were difficult to fix until he finally replaced the machine, which takes time.

We will start shipping folks in until about 15 days. And by the way, we have 650 unsold cribs finishing about April 10 and then will not be out of stock ever!

Thanks you for your interest. We are taking care of the customers in a priority basis.

Also, so you know, we are working towards completion of a new warehouse. We expect by July to have $1.2 million in inventory and will be working towards shipping in two + weeks right out of inventory.
