Childesigns out of biz?
A reader today
writes:
Just wanted to let you guys know
that as of today, Childesigns (aka Generation 2) has gone out of business.
I found this out after ordering a Bellamia crib online (Childesigns makes
Bellamia cribs). It arrived damaged and when I called the company, they
agreed to send out a replacement crib but also informed me that after 40 years,
the company was going out of business. Thought you'd want to know....
Your Baby Bargains book has been a huge help to me as await the birth of
our first baby on May 13th!
Editor's note: We have left
a message for Childesigns today to confirm this news, but have not heard back.
No one answered the phone there when we called during business hours. More on
this later when we get a confirmation.
