USA Today covers the debut of a new car seat, the Safeguard---which will sell for a whopping $429! It will ship in October and is a forward-only facing seat (22-65 lbs; 57" height). Safeguard's web site is packed with crash test info, which is impressive (we wish other car seat makers would be so transparent). Safeguard is made by IMMI, which also other safety gear for buses and boats.
