Horray! Burlington/Baby Depot changes return policy



Got this email today from a staffer at Burlington Coat Factory, which runs the Baby Depot stores:

In issues of your "Baby Bargains" books, Baby Depot's return policy is mentioned in an adverse manner. We are pleased to inform you that on September 1, 2006, our unfavorable "no cash back" was changed to a more consumer friendly "cash back" policy.

Burlington Coat Factory' s new "cash back" policy states that a customer has up to 30 days to return merchandise with the receipt and tickets attached for a cash or credit refund.

We are currently running television and radio ads, along with in-store signage and mentions in all our print ads announcing this new and exciting change to our return policy.

So, that's great news! Kudos for Burlington to fixing their return policy, which has long put them at a disadvantage compared to other stores.
