BRU fixes prices, suit alleges



Babies R Us has been sued by two discount retailers who claim the chain has fixed prices of popular baby gear items according to an article in the NJ Star Ledger.

We've heard these complaints for quite some time---discounters allege that BRU has demanded baby gear makers have "minimum advertised price" policies. The effect is to stop discount web sites from selling certain popular items like Britax car seats at prices below a set minimum.
